hey my anders has -50% damage resistance and well im noticing some other characters dont have any resistances at all and im like ? makes no sense! i remember this happening to my main character and he became ULTRA slow.
I did use makers sigh on a few of the characters but CMON.. i hope anders is meant to get one shotted by everything in the game. im playing on nightmare :/ i dont find this amusing.
i was a preorder. beat the game.
just recently revisited and bought all the story dlc and playing it on nightmare from beginning.. Im still finding same ol bugs... Wow is there a solution anyone besides save editing? i hate having to hack my own game to make it work.
Is ANDERS supposed to have -50% damage resistance? Whats going on

i started my new game on 1.04 anders hasnt really gotten hit much so i never noticed it till i checked. i also think some ppl are missing stats! whats going on. all these years and these same old bugs! this is game breaking if youre on nightmare mode on PC and this happens to any of your party members.
Ive been pidgeonholed into playing just as hawk with ranged characters hoping they dont get hit.

This should probably go in the gameplay forum, but Anders' sustained ability "Vengeance" gives him -50% DR and +10% Damage, and after the quest with Feynriel in act 2/3 he gets that talent point for free. So it could go into his tactics automatically if you're using one of the presets, hence the -50% DR.
Just set a tactic "health < 50% Deactivate mode Vengeance" or something (as you do generally want him to keep Vengeance up).

In general, when you see unexpected behavior, always check the tactics settings first.

In the character build forum, there are some threads with good tactics setups for your companions. As soon as I recruit someone or have them in my party for the first time, I always customize their tactics, so they don't become unpredictable, and the party works together like a well-oiled machine.

He did show up in DA2, even after (according to the timeline, actually before) I killed him in Awakening. So i am guessing he does have some serious resistances.
