So, I was goofing around on my little dwarf rogue when I
realized there was no class restriction on two-handed weapons, and started
wondering if it would work, but my dwarf was pretty invested in DW spec, and
I'm too lazy to DL the respec mod...



A quick romp through the human origin later, and I can say, yes, it kind of
does.



You get the auto-crit from stealth, (which is fun, sneak up on some
unsuspecting fool and BAM, giant hammer upside their head) and, although there
isn't an animation, if you position yourself for backstabbing, you do get
auto-crits from there too.



I'm not sure how this would work out over the long haul, depending on leveling
you might run out of rogue skills and specializations to put points in, but if
you're a bit bored and feel like doing something a little weird, give 2hand
rogue a chance.

Well, you wouldn't get any of the bonuses of using a two handed weapon that you would as a warrior, nor the bonuses of using a typical rogue weapon, so it'd be kind of frustrating. I suppose you could use a two handed weapon as your alternative weapon set for fun, especially if you're normally an archer and don't invest in dual weapon talents. Just a thought.
