With Extended Cut coming out on tuseday and the weird save placement of were it starts, did anyone try to speed run Singleplayer over the weekend or were you more focused on completing Operation Savage?
I played more Singleplayer than Multiplayer but I did do the Squad Goal.
Did you play Singleplayer or Multiplayer over the weekend

I don't SG since I've done the endings. I will do the EC, and since it's not what I was expecting (ending change, not some closure), and will probably not like it, I will not do it again.

Played MP on Friday only, steamrolled through ME2 during the rest of the weekend with mah paragon Adept.
I somehow dislike the idea of loading my old save (been playing canonical soldier Shepard, actually I can't play male Shep with custom face) to test EC. I already closed his story in my heart, he died, but died hero *wipes a tear* must have started raining or something.

Went back to a save point (a weird little Quick Save) from before Thessia for two of my characters in SP. Didn't know I had a save from before the Cerberus base and don't know what a quick save is vs an autosave but they're the only saves I had.
Also played the MP challenge.

Apart from the MP challenge (I was lucky enough to get a game with two krogan and a batarian on my first attempt!) I finished my replay of ME1 and started ME2.
I thought the DLC would take longer to come out, so now I've got decide whether to carry on with ME2 and wait until I finished that and a fresh ME3 to see it, or just reload my old pre-Cerberus base ME3 save...

Only played SP once.
Find MP more fun as I like the combat mechanics the most from the campaign.

I played MP this weekend, because savage species are so much fun.
I'm 90% done my latest ME2 run, so I'll probably port that into 3 and play the whole thing again at some point, but I really expected the DLC to take longer.

Played MP.
I got my personal copy of the game just for that section of the game, really. I have pretty much given up on SP at this point, and it seems unlikely tomorrow's release will change that.
If I ever were to reconsider playing any SP-content of the series again, it would be just ME1. Stellar experience all on its own far as I am concerned. ME2 had its moments too, granted, but replaying it again some time ago I did not find it too enthralling gameplay-wise (yes yes, I very much may be the odd-ball there)...

MP and haven't touched the SP since I finished it the first time. May try the SP tonight to get caught up so I can do the extended cut after it comes out.

All MP this weekend.
I have several SP saves. The save after the credits roll takes you back to the right point for the EC.

Bought the game simply for the multiplayer. If I could I would've bought it as a stand alone. No plans on ever giving the single player a try.
I'm a big me1 fan, and endured the 2nd title.. The brief taste of the third installment in the demo showed me this will simply aggravate me too much. So I'd rather skip that frustration.
Geeky/Nerdy of me, yeah I guess.. but in this instance.. Ignorance is actually quite blissful
To me, Shepard is stuck in a blissful state where the suicidal mission will never happen. He'll just go on and on searching for members for it
Soo.. yeah. spent my time playing Multiplayer until the money grind got to me, then switched to some battlefield 3 =)
