If the EC fails to live up to my expectations (which are fairly basic) then Bioware will not see any money from me anymore. Not only will I only buy their games second hand, I will only buy those games if i'm absolutely sure I want to play it; I will not buy their games based on the strength of their reputation as I have done for Bioware in the past.

I'll buy any new ME games, besides the ending, ME3 is one of my favorite games & barely disappointed me.

I have no interest in the likes of Dragon Age, so I'd only be interested in ME, Star Wars or possibly new IPs from Bioware.

I might give Bioware another chance, provided they acknowledge that the reason people hated the ending was not the supposed lack of closure. But they need to apologise; that podcast was frankly insulting.

I've had it with EA, however. Everything is simplified, and everything is monetised. It's really hard to enjoy the core of the game when they're throwing adverts at you constantly.

If EC fails I wont be preordering or day 1 purchase from bioware anytime soon. They screw up on ME3 and DA2. I have other things to do with my money

I don't see why I need to stick around for Bioware products if they can't even stick to their promises. What's the point?

If I for, whatever reason want to throw money at Bioware, at the most I'll only buy when the games are in bargain bin.... for like, say $5. No day 1 purchase/preorders. :P

I'll be back for DA3 for sure, but that's probably it.

A Mass Effect 4 without Shepard is not a Mass Effect for me, especially after all that's happened with EAware.

I even bought it twice (xbox and pc), and, the ending not withstanding, Mass Effect 3 was well worth the money and I don't regret buying it. I'm still confident that'll be true for the DLC, too, so I'm still on board. They're too prideful to admit having screwed up the ending, but I'm sure they know they did, and that they'll be much more careful next time around, so I'm not really worried about them making the same mistake in the future.

Not buying any more ME. Just like the recent New52 comics of DC comics, not interested, since they destroyed what came before, all my emotional investment is gone, so why bother?

I'm giving them one more chance with DA3. And that chance is based on whether or not Hawke will be the Player Protagonist in it. Which is very unlikely.

Which means that is it for me, as far as EA games is concerned. Yes, EA, not just Bioware. Because what is going on with Bioware, is merely another iteration of EA's standard modus operandi concerning their aquired studios: EA is stripmining Bioware. As soon as it's done, the Bioware studios are dead, and that's it for the games. Since I do not agree with what EA is doing, I shall not buy any game of EA. I refuse to condone their actions through my money.

I'm well aware that they said that all DA games will have unique player protagonists. I'm also now made aware of the fact that nothing EA or Bioware says, can be trusted. Plus, the game is in an early enough stage, that things can easily changed.

However, I did say it was very unlikely. So, no, I won't hold my breath for it.

Mass Effect 3 was the first pc game in years which i actually bought (because ME2 was terrific) so being dissapointed with what i got, after finishing it, i've decided not to pay for another game, unless it is really really good, and doesn't have a bad ending :P

I'm someone that (Due to my WoW habit) doesn't play a lot of stand alone games often.  I actually have a backlog of games for both my console and PC that I bought and haven't touched yet
(just finished Fallout 3 and have started New Vegas, stll haven't staretd Uncharted 3) .  Not alot, but quite a few hours worth.  The only games I played the moment they came out were the ME series and Dragon Age.  I dropped everything (except my school work) for ME3.

I know that no matter what I will not pre-order another Bioware game.  Most stores get way to many copies of the Collector's Editions anyway, (I can still find CE of Skyrim, ME3, and SWTOR) so I can just wait for see what the fans thought before making any purchases.  What this EC does however, is decide if I buy any of the ME3 DLC.  At this point I'm having a hard time getting the motivation to play ME3 again, and that is 100% because of my opinion about the ending.  All the EC needs to do is make me not hate myself for picking an ending and you have my DLC money.

The problem is that from what I've heard so far that isn't gonig to happen.  I'll download it tomorrow but I'm waiting to hear from the forums if it's worth anything.

Yatzee isn't a reviewer. he's a one-trick monkey that repeats the same tired thing over and over again, just each time with a different piece of fruit.

If the EC fails to bring me around then I'm giving up on Mass Effect. It was never about DA, I liked DA2 for the most part and I'll be getting DA3 most likely, unless things look really bad when previews and such come along. If the EC does bring me around then sure I'll probably buy DLC, but future ME games will not be pre-ordered by me, I'll be waiting for some honest reviews first. This changed me from being a guaranteed pre-order to at most a possible purchase after fan reviews (and reviews from the couple of reviewers I respect) have turned up.

I cannot truthfully say that I will never buy another game from BioWare, regardless of how the EC turns out. I think I can truthfully say that regardless of how the EC turns out, I will not pre-order another game from BioWare. Having been seriously disappointed by ME3, the potential taint must necessarily extend to other games. They will not, de facto, be disappointing games, but the disparity between hype and reality for ME3 has created cloud of doubt regarding anything else produced by the company. DA3 would have been next up on my list, but not until I hear what the fans have to say about it. And ME4 will definitely wait for a sale.

Haven't bought a Final Fantasy game since FF12 even though I had bought almost all of its predecessors. Mass Effect has really been the only franchise I've been a "fanboy" of, in my 20+ years of gaming. If it's wrecked, it's wrecked. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, ME4 might be a rental if the EC isn't redeeming.

DA2 and ME3 are failures because your choices were shat on.
DA3 if it fails will be three in a row and the final nail in bioware's coffin.
3 failures in a row which deviate from the bioware once awesomeness?
GG NO RE BW

EA will abandon  BW or make them work on shooters or something since EA has helped Bioware destroy their own niche market.

After ME3 I find myself having a hard time really investing time into any choice based story driven rpg. Up to ME3 I was very much into SWTOR, endgame best gear had 2 level 50's and a character for every class since I love the stories. After I just don't seem to be able to go forward with any of the class stories and have since stopped playing. I't silly but everytime I try it's like a bad taste in my mouth over what ME3 did.

Hopefully this will change after some more time, I have doubts the EC will help from what the podcast was like.

I have more integrity and self respect than that. There are developers out there whom deserve my money and attention.

If i twas done i wouldn't even use this website or anything related to the company.

I'm fine thought, i support them and their games aren't bad, DA II was disappointing but still good and ME3 is great but i just want more closure.
