Can we have the option to delete N7 promotees?

It bothered me in the original release that the ending was more determined by a "did you play multiplayer enough" boolean variable then it was about your choices over the franchises. Having that continue to compound over time would be a real shame - especially since if the EC is any good I might want want to do a real disaster playthrough (something I did with ME2 and discarded after being hugely unsatisified with ME3's conclusion) and try to get the worst ending possible. Which thanks to N7 Special Ops will be impossible.
So, I ask simply: Can we have a way to delete this war asset, so that our singleplayer experience doesn't conclude by checking how much we played multiplayer since the game's release?

Kinda forces you to not experience the darker outcomes of the story, doesn't it?

I usualy got the problem with the N7 ops bonus dropping during missions... this makes the scene with wrex fighting a reaper destroyer change depending on my EMS... If the EMS is low the Destroyer will almost immediately fire at wrex, if the forces are there I goet a prolonged fight with soemtihng looking like the normandy getting closer... The N7 ops war assets tend to drop for no reason mod mission, or after a mission... Only way t oget it back is save and go to the main menue then reload the game from the save.. and suddenly they are magicaly back... space magic...

But yeah, there should be an option in the game to dismiss the promoted troops.

I am well aware you can't do it. I am asking to be given the option to either delete them or allocate them to a single save or whatever. At 75 TMS per promotion, if you took part in any of the "promote a bunch of dudes" challenges, or just promoted because you mistakenly thought it might unlock something, you can end up with well over a thousand TMS from N7 without much effort.
The level of intrusion on my single player experience makes me wish I had never bothered playing MP at all, and that's not a good thing (because, ignoring the stupid unlock system, it's actually quite fun). The fact that Bioware are reducing the requirements for the best end is great - because most people want the best ending. Heck, I want the best ending most of the time. Those last 4 words are key though - "most of the time".
I had a great save from ME2 that I never bothered importing into ME3 that was basically going to be my 3 game long attempt to doom the galaxy. Thanks to multiplayer I will automatically dramatically succeed, always. That's a terrible shame (and prolongs the problem most people had with the original ending - that their choices over the series didn't have any real consequences).
I've also never had any problems with them showing up as a war asset instantly upon loading a saved game. I play chiefly on XBox, if that matters.

Wouldn't disconnecting the xbox eliminate the assets? Thought having those relied on server connection.
It's my understanding that you can't load DLC without connecting to the server (from what I've read here - my Xbox is always online when it's powered up). Which means you can not have the EC without connecting to the server, which unfortunately foils that plan.
It would also remove Javik, which is less of a loss.

As long as you've been online with the content at least once, you can play it as much as you want offline afterwards. So you can install the DLC, boot up your game, load your savegame, save again, quit, and then disconnect.

You can play the DLC offline on PC as well, I tested it last night.

OP, just yank the cable and find out. Gr will stay elevated, but I don't do MP, so can't tell you about n7.

Huh,have seen posts claiming otherwise. If it works it works though.

Yeah, I've seen others having problems with it too. But I've tried it a few times, just after launch, and recently after the EC date was announced. I've never had a problem with it.

To be able to play "offline" after you have already authorized DLC on the PC, it is not simply enough to go in Offline mode for Origin. Essentially it has to believe you have no network connection, so you need to disable your network adapter.dekkerd wrote...

I do not know if this will get rid of your N7 Spec Ops team though.

With ME3 Gibbed I think you can set your War Assets number to basically anything you want.AleNes wrote...
Is there any solution or workaround for this by now?
My N7 Spec Ops team is worth something like 7025pts or some absurd number ever since I got the N7 Mastery challenge for MP.

this is exactly what I did. Whats interesting for me, is that as long as I don't check war assests they don't register in my game.
