No Liara... I don't know really. It might be Kaiden, but I killed him on Virmire. Maybe Thane, but just for not being alone.

Thane would then, truly be the most pointless character of the entire series and I would have just continued playing the game with my Shepard being celibate as originally planned.

He was created as a LI for the female fan base after all.

Though with how things went in ME3, yeah, my Shepard ended the game celibate as originally planned. Only instead of having this smug, prideful feeling of being beyond everyone else by playing the entire series without a romance, I feel like **** because Thane is the most pointless character in the series.

Without Garrus, probably would stick with mshep and go with Steve. My mshep would continue to give Garrus suggestive glances of course...

Never have attempted a Tali romance, though. Maybe next time.

If Garrus wasn't an LI I would pine for him and be constantly bitter that such an amazing character wasn't available. I'm so glad they made him romanceable in ME2. I really don't like any of the other male LIs at all, so I'd be pretty stuck. The only other person I could consider romancing is Vega, but he's not an option.

My canon MShep was with Miranda. If she wasn't available, he would've wound up with Ashley (created a second MShep for her).

My canon FShep ultimately wound up with Samantha. Without her, not sure (I have another FShep with Liara, so maybe I would've romanced Liara or Garrus instead).

You said the garrus part perfectly. But I would say the only other person I would consider would be Tali except she's not available for FemShep.
