The breathing scene.

I'm just wondering, does anyone think they will illaberate on this in the obvious "epilogue" they are releasing?

Marketing strategies would make me assume that if it is removed, it is because they will have another scenario play out in it's stead. That is to say there will be no need for the scene if Shepard is alive in a cutscene. It would be innocuous.

mmm well i guess it would be easier to remove it but if they did something with it... i mean they wouldnt even have to have a literal obvious in your face happy ending... but at least you would of survived some how lol

BioWare never intended Shepard to survive ME3, which is why they always used the word ''bittersweet''. In combination with the PR rubbish casey and mac told earlier about the EC, the real bittersweet ending is that the organic races survived the Reaper war, but Shepard had to give his life for it.

I wonder what BioWare was thinking when they made that decision though. This will make things even worse than they were before for a lot of people. The rage on these forums will be incredible...

If this is true, I will uninstall all 3 ME games from my system and I will never touch them again.

If Shepard isn't alive at the end of high EMS destroy anymore, even I'll be too scared to log into the BSN.

If they intended him to die in all the endings they wouldn't have included a file on the ****ing disc entitled Shepard Alive.

Think people.

mmmm ive just been pondering it, ive been doing another play through of the series (after finally making myself do it because the other games are good and fun) it just pop'ed into my head as i was gathering a rediculous amount of resources on ME2 .

I would actually prefer him(her) dead in all endings. It would just make more sense.

Honestly, how is it that Shepard survived the destroy canister explosion, the shockwave from the destroy beam, the Citadel explosion, the vaccum of space, the decent through the atmosphere, and the impact of earth. If the only thing they come up with is "mass effect shields," I will be extremely disappointed.

Well then you have 15 "different" endings to enjoy.

Let us have our one.

I have a feeling they are going to remove it since they can not explain it.

How is it any different than anything else in the ending?

I mean, really. By your logic, the extended cut is simply going to remove the ending. ;-)
