Amateurs.

How is it any different than anything else in the ending?

I mean, really. By your logic, the extended cut is simply going to remove the ending. ;-)

That would be the best case scenario

I lost all will to play any more ME3 and moved on to X3: Albion Prelude. (Fantastic game btw!)

I will just look in this forum and check youtube for the differences the EC brings. I have a really bad feeling the ShepBreathe will either remain unexplained, removed or (in best case) explained as Shepard being blown into a shielded part of the Citadel.

Meh, we'll see. I'm expecting the worst.

The breathing scene.

I'm just wondering, does anyone think they will illaberate on this in the obvious "epilogue" they are releasing?

Shepard is dead in ALL endings.  As far as I'm concerned, that "breath" was just Shepard's last one.  Seriously, no one knows whether Shepard is alive.  He/she was battered, blasted, and bleeding before he/she got on the Citadel.  And now it just exploded in your face, and you're buried under Citadel rubble, in a broken up and destroyed station, in Earth orbit.  The place that Shepard was isn't anywhere people have been to before, so no one will know to even search that place for your corpse.  Most likely you'll die of dehydration if you don't just bleed out, and then your corpse will burn up when that station chunk enters the atmosphere.

The End... unless Miranda can bring you back again.

Yes, but WHY would they keep hime alive in that ending if there's no sequel, no closure, and no reason?

BECAUSE IT WAS AN EASTER EGG!

not to be mean, but you totally and completely missed the point of my question and directly assumed i was talking about shepard, though i do wish he is alive and im happy with my self to agree with taboo above me, i was meerly asking if people thought they would illaberate on this..... if you actually read my question it say's nothing about shepard.

Bioware lied to us repeatedly before the release of the game, so why would I believe the BS that they wrote in some CE booklet?

It would be too much like a video game to keep him alive.. Bioware wants him dead at all cost.. maybe they only meant "shepards alive" for like 10 seconds then dies of injury

Really?  Breathing Scene.  I can't understand how I could have mistaken the Shepard breathing scene for all of the other ones in the Ending... except that Shepard breathing at the end of the Red ending is the only breathing scene.

You asked if they'll ellaborate (correct spelling for future reference) on it.  If they don't cut it out, I'm sure they will.  All I was saying is that as the game stands today, before the EC, that Shepard is dead.  Not much to ellaborate, really.

yes yes spelling i suck at it.

that wasnt my point,  i did not see shepards face at all... so yeah it didnt have to be shepard and it wasn't a matter of a mistake it was a matter of clarification for me, unless you have 100% certainty (in which if you say you do with these endings you should be trolled for foolishness) that it is or it is not shepard breathing, then please do not write another paragraph to me explaining to me how he is dead, nothing about the endings is certain for anyone that much EVERYONE on this forum can agree on because it was that bad.

(fyi i am in agreement with taboo)

I'll concede one point to you.  Yes, at that second, Shepard is taking a breath, and only a living person would be doing that.  However, only for that second is he still alive.  He'll either be bleeding out from all of his injuries (before and after the Citadel blew up in his face) or from dehydration as he lay trapped in the rubble with no hope of being found or rescued.  Shepard is therefore DEAD.

BTW, you're awfully angry about being so wrong about this.  There's nothing wrong with being proven wrong.  Accept it, and move on.

Nice fallacy there. You have no idea what is happening because of a lack of contextual information.

Perspicacity is not your strong suit, and for that I should be grateful. He can be found just as easily as Bioware wishes him to. You assume that he will just be left there to rot.

Because beating Halo 3 on legendary and seeing Master Chief still alive didn't lead to a Halo 4?

Wait, what?

Ah.  No, I think the implication was that it was Shepard was pretty clear.  Will they add to that scene to add absolute certainty that it is in fact Shepard about to breath his last breath under that rubble?  I highly doubt it.  Some seem to think it's being cut altogether becasue Shepard does in fact die in all endings.

Honestly it was part of the Casey & Mac "speculation for everyone" ending idea, which I think we all agree was a bad idea.

THE FILE ON THE FRAKING DISK IS CALLED: SHEPARDALIVE.BIK   OR    FEMSHEPARDALIVE.BIK      GET WITH THE PROGRAM

They'll let him live in the breathing scene. They really don't want to face the wrath of tens of thousands of people storming the gates with hay forks and torches in the middle of the night. -- you know, like that scene in "Young Frankenstein"?

And even I would be loathe to log into this forum, although it would be like watching a trainwreck in slow motion.

And here I though I was pessimistic Image IPB

But it is an open ending after all. If you want Shepard to die after that last breath then it is in your rights to headcanon it so Image IPB

true, but In Halo 3, you didn't destroy the main source of inter-planetary travel creating a doomsday scenario of starvation and pilaging
