My questions this time around are:

"Do you feel there is a good range of weaponry to choose from?"

"Do you feel there is a weapon that fills every niche and level?"
(e.g. - From low: "Give this weapon to the rookie so he doesn't hurt him/herself or anyone else for that matter" to High: "This weapon makes things go away just by its mere presence on the battlefield", and everything in between)

"With the above questions in mind, which is your favourite weapon overall?" I am not asking which you think is the "best", only which one do you simply like to play with most of all.

There are tons of weapons to choose from. The problem is that some of them suck.

I feel like there is a weapon that fills every niche and level. The problem is that multiple niches and levels are best filled by the same weapons. Kinda related to the answer to the first question.

My favorite weapon is the Claymore. It uses pure hatred as ammo, and no matter how much I love getting a headshot with a sniper now and then, there's nothing like carrying around a jet-engine with me.

Yes, there are quite a lot of weapons and I feel that the game could use more enemies to shoot them with instead .

I don't really have a personal favourite, but I have been using the Indra and Talon very heavily over the past few days. If I had to pick a top 5, I'd say Indra, Talon, Saber, Falcon, N7 Valiant.

I feel that some of the weapons do the same thing, I am not an expert at this game by any means, but I find myself excluding some weapons when playing, because I feel that there are similar weapons. I dont want to list them because then plenty of people will be quoting and disagreeing and trying to tell me the differences when to me it doesnt really matter, I stick to my strengths.

I also feel that as better weapons get unlocked, other weapons become obsolete, There might be too many weapons because of this.

I think other community members have found a specific gun to use for a specific character. I do like to use certain weapons with certain characters, but I do think there are enough weapons for all niches and levels, even though inexperienced players could get frustrated trying to play Gold without knowing what weapons to use, but then again thats why they should build experience in bronze

My favorite weapon is the carnifex, I use it on several characters. Next is the hurricane and then the cerberus harrier.

I think the Phaeston is an all around high-quality weapon, and with the right mods (Piercing and Ammo), the Phaeston both packs a punch and its low weight allows for a quick cooldown.

1. There aren't any truly useful SMG's on higher difficulties. The Hurricane is passable, but with the armor DR mechanics coupled with how long it takes to upgrade that gun, there are just better options in other categories. Maybe if ULM was fixed I'd be more inclined to take them as a sidearm.

2. Geth Plasma Shotgun. High damage, amazing accuracy (with tracking), and simple to use. Can't go wrong.

3. The Cerberus Harrier is everything an assault rifle should be. Good damage, accuracy, and rate of fire, without extreme weight problems. My only gripe is the ammo supply, but you can't have everything. Saber comes in a close second.

Yes. Everything is covered. The overlap as needed. Mods allow for enough customization to make one weapon fit to the role you want it to.

Yes. The Geth SMG is the "give to rookie so won't hurt himself" weapon. Something you'd entrust with a small retarded child. The Krysae has to be the closest thing to the Missile. That and the Black Widow just... pow.

My favorite? Has to be the Mattock. I like this gun, it works. It's awesome. close range, long range. Just make sure there's ammo nearby and I'm up my ears in fuzzy and loving it.
But I can't wait to unlock the Harrier. It seems like a clear upgrade, but I won't know until I try it.

Do i feel there is a good range of weaponry? Overall yes. But i think certain classes of weapons need more viable options. SMGS currently have very little going for them except the Hurricane and the hornet.

Do I feel there is a weapon that fills every niche and level? Not really understanding this question. Seems pretty similar to the first one.

I feel that people who want a 200% CD have very few suitable options outside of Heavy pistols which i think is a shame.

The Reegar. It's also the one that i think is the best for my mains Ksoldier and Kroguard.

I think the range is okay. I would like to see more versatility in the Shotguns, most of them just aren't...Fun. Snipers and AR's have the most love. SMGs need to be fixed, but otherwise have decent variety. Pistols are cool, but there seem to be standout favorites for the most part (Carnifex). It would be nice to see Pistols doing some more interesting stuff, I guess.

As for every niche and level? Yeah. There's guns that are easy to use, guns that are hard to use, and guns that just murder everything around you. Balancing has helped with this, but some guns are just champions.

As for my favorite? Geth Pulse Rifle.

I don't care if you all tell me it's terrible. It's my absolute favorite.

I feel that there are too many of one kind of weapon and not enough of others. There's only 6 SMGs for example and something like 11 Assault Rifles.

Full Auto weapons need some help, and a simple damage buff won't do it. At the moment semi-auto, slow firing weapons are a better choice. They do more damage per shot, so you don't need to be out of cover as often.

In non-gameplay it's the Scorpion. It's a pistol that shoots grenades. If you need to be told why that's awesome then you don't own one. Such a great concept. Great introduction in SP too.

But for actual gameplay I'd go with the Talon. It's not quite the same as shooting grenades, but a pistol shotgun is rather entertaining. It's also good at pretty much anything.

Buff what we got or add better. Most guns are garbage unless you play bronze and silver. And the Internet commando who can solo gold with a shuriken or predator is the exception not average player.

there are a few really good weapons and a endless supply of mediocre weapons.

the few that are really good outpreform any other in any similar role.

the few that i like are the Hurricane, Black Widow, Valiant, Claymore, Falcon, Krysae, Talon, Revenant, Reegar, Geth Plasma Shotgun.

none of the others can preform like these weapons can.

a personall note. the Falcon and Revenant i only like because i managed to find a tiny niche role they preform wonderfully in. they are still somewhat mediorcre tho.

i try to have fun with others at times but they always let me down when and where it counts.
