You are probably asking about whether there are enough weapons, to which the answer would be: and then some. But since you phrased it the way you did the answer is: No.Do you feel there is a good range of weaponry to choose from?
There is a very large number of weapons (with limited customization options), which only gives the players an illusion of choice. People don't seem to be noticing (or caring about the fact) that the ever growing amount of weapons does not actually effect gameplay. At least not for long.
Do you mean ONE weapon that fills EVERY niche and level? If yes, the answer is of course not.Do you feel there is a weapon that fills every niche and level? (e.g. - From low: "Give this weapon to the rookie so he doesn't hurt him/herself or anyone else for that matter" to High: "This weapon makes things go away just by its mere presence on the battlefield", and everything in between)
Do you mean ONE weapon for all niches in each weapon class? If yes, then the answer is yes.
Do you mean a weapon that is good for everyone regardless of skill, experience and character? the answer would be the Krysae: a relatively accessible scoped weapon with great damage, large magazine, good ROF and relatively low weight.
Do you mean there is a weapon for everyone? The answer again would be: And then some. (And still people cry for buffs/nerfs/balancing...)
Based on the experiences of late and BioWare's tendency to engange in the farce called balancing, I am not going to tell...With the above questions in mind, which is your favourite weapon overall?" I am not asking which you think is the "best", only which one do you simply like to play with most of all.

Yes, with provisions. (Sorry for length.)
There are plenty of fun guns to play with in the game, although some of them really lose significant effectiveness on difficulties beyond Bronze. This is particularly a problem with SMGs and Assault Rifles with auto-fire, burst or sustained. For instance, the Avenger’s a fun enough weapon to use, and it’s effective on Bronze, but two factors really work against it on Silver or higher. First, the amount of damage armor strips away from the gun’s low base damage hurts it, and forces you to use AP mods or ammo to partially compensate. Second, the number of enemies (and their increased health) firing back at you means that you have to be out of cover too long to deal damage with the gun as-is, so you end up taking more hits than you deal out. In the vast majority of cases, you’re better off switching to a different gun entirely. A similar thing happens with the Vindicator, another fun weapon to use, or with the Phaeston. You end up having to choose a very different sort of gun to compensate: e.g. a Revenant, which weighs a lot and has very limited range due to accuracy, or a Mattock, which is a fine gun but doesn’t feel anything like an assault rifle. There are gun roles that are filled to some extent on Bronze, but not all on higher difficulties. Advanced assault rifles also weigh more than they should. The balance between sustained or burst fire that’s effective and the hitting power of single shot weapons has definite issues.
Having some sort of advanced version of an Avenger that weighs more but does more base damage would fill that gap, as would including the Valkyrie from solo play into MP, in the case of the Vindicator. (Or perhaps basic guns could have more upgrade slots, so that a level 15 version of these guns could compete with a Rare weapon.) As it is, gun stats strongly favor single-shot weapons like pistols and sniper rifles due to damage and weight - which is particularly sad for those of us who live far away from most gamers, since latency and lag sometimes eat shots from those guns or delay their hits significantly, mitigating their efficacy.
I think one way for you guys to check this stuff our yourself would be to track which guns are being used in Gold matches, and to correlate those to the scores put up. I think you’ll find that some weapons and some weapon types are being used more often to better effect, which suggests that on tougher settings, gaps do begin to appear in the roles weapons play. If you did this or do it, I think the community would be very interested in seeing the results you get.
3. Favorite guns
I like a lot of the basic weapons like the Vindicator, but I don’t always use them because of diminishing returns on tougher settings. The Phalanx is a fun pistol for just about every situation, while the Talon’s fun in more particular spots. I enjoy using the Hornet. Larger magazine shotguns like the Scimitar and Disciple are enjoyable for agile characters. I actually enjoy the Eagle on my Turian characters, too.

We certainly could use a burst-fire high-power Assault Rifle - Ultra Rare, like Valkyrie or Rare - Argus? Particle Rifle and Chakram Launcher are also missing IMO. Also SMG need some love.
2.
Geth Plasma Shotgun. With close to mid range, shield gate bypass, built in AP mod, auto aim and ability to charge shots it most OP... versatile weapon. It works with geth racial bonus and it's not as heavy as Claymore. Some heavy pistols also are freakishly powerful
3.
Javelin. Very situational. Very clumsy. Kishok and Revenant take the second place together.

Yes, though I feel more special and unique types of weapons should be available. The scorpion, reegar and krysae are good examples of unique guns.
"Do you feel there is a weapon that fills every niche and level?"
Yes, but alot of the silver grade and a few of the gold grade weapons fall into a state where the rest of the weapons are outright upgrades over them, and as such are seldom used by me.
"With the above questions in mind, which is your favourite weapon overall?"
I would say the Harrier is my favourite weapon. Tiny magazine and very heavy (Mines only at level 2) but it packs quite a wallop for what it does.

"Do you feel there is a good range of weaponry to choose from?"
Absolutely, I especially love that there are tons of weapons that work a tad different here and there. Like the Kishock, Krysae, Rheegar and so on. I wouldn't carry all of them in a gold match, but some are great for goofin' around on lower difficulties.
"Do you feel there is a weapon that fills every niche and level?"
I suppose so. Since I play mainly power-heavy characters I usually start out with lighter weaponry until I get the weight capacity to allow for heavier guns, for example. Always found something befitting my playstyle, too.
"With the above questions in mind, which is your favourite weapon overall?"
Hands down, N7 Eagle.

A SMG that actually kills things would be nice, something like a Thompson... but in the ME3 universe. Kinda like a baby Harrier.
Favorite Weapon - Harrier ... and a bunch of other close seconds like GPS, Graal, Reegar, Talon, BW, Scorpion, Indra, Claymore.

There's so many weapons available it's hard to try them all and compare them. I'd say there's more than enough weapons.
"Do you feel there is a weapon that fills every niche and level?"
It's quite a hassle to test all the weapons, and I've only been able to play with a few. It'd help if there was a shooting range like in single player. I do think there's an imbalance in the rarity of the weapons though, with only a few common and uncommon weapons, but an overdose of rare and ultra-rare weaponry.
"With the above questions in mind, which is your favourite weapon overall?"
Phaeston.

Well, I wish there was some bit lighter weight assault rifles that have automatic fire and are viable in Gold. I can understand you want things more balanced, but I want to use automatic gun and in Gold there are just few choices. Those that are viable are just bit too heavy.
But otherwise it is good range of guns. I still wish there was a gun for a person like me. Doesn't have to be overpowered or anything, just good viable, rapid firing (doesn't need high fire rate) and light.
"Do you feel there is a weapon that fills every niche and level?"
Other than what I said, I guess so! I like what you guys have done with the guns in the game. But I have to admit, I am pretty "onesided" player. So I can't speak for others, but it seems like people are using variety of guns.
"With the above questions in mind, which is your favourite weapon overall?"
At the momment I think it's Harrier or Avenger. Harrier is just bit too heavy to be straight up my favourite gun and Avenger just isn't viable in gold and barely in Silver. I understand that weight is something you balance the guns with too... but yeah.
I just like to have a gun that I can walk in the room, pull the trigger down and take down everyone there, blasting my concusion shots around to keep my foes from firing at me. So much fun to do this, especialy with guns that have atleast 150% recharge speed!

The problem is that most of them are terrible, and you nerf yourself and your team if you pick them.
Also, the class you play severely restricts your ability to choose weapon.
You have made a great deal of badass weapons, Bioware, it's just a shame your gameplay discourages us from using most of them.

2.) Yes.
3.) Cerberus Harrier. I like it so much I would like to see it in single player.

In theory yes. Practically, if you're not a gold player it takes a loooooong time to get any of the URs. Also, if you have lag problems a lot of guns are a no-go.
"Do you feel there is a weapon that fills every niche and level?"
I don't know. I have only unlocked one UR so far.
I'm missing a good lag-resistant weapon (AR) for my engineers. Something that packs more punch than the Geth AR but is easier to use (and lighter) than the Revenant.
"With the above questions in mind, which is your favourite weapon overall?"
Carnifex, BW and Mattock.

Yup, the current range is good but more would be nice. More weapons with special properties, quirks or abilities please! Maybe class/race locked weapons? Melee weapons? Or different cobra missile type weapons?
"Do you feel there is a weapon that fills every niche and level?"
Pretty much, but only if RNG favors you.
"Which is your favourite weapon overall?"
Talon IMO is pretty much the perfect weapon. Light, powerful and fast with decent range and a good sized clip.

It was especially frustrating in the beginning since I only played on bronze and didn't unlock many rares (spectre packs are way too expensive if you only play bronze) and it seemed like the only weapons worth unlocking/upgrading were phalanx and mattock (which I never got high enough to use).
I think the main problem is that the SMGs aren't good enough. Even though I've unlocked most weapons I'm still mostly using the phalanx just because of the weight, even on vanguards, since most weapons are too heavy if they're not upgraded to at least 5. It feels like the game lacks good light weapons.
I know most people here don't share this problem since it seems like everyone play several hours every day and have already upgraded every non-ultra rare weapon to 10. It does however seem like most people can agree that SMGs aren't good enough and that might be the only real problem.
There seems to be a lot of fun and interesting weapons available, but I prefer to use powers as much as possible so I'll probably never get to use them much (unless I unlock a krogan)
3 - Geth plasma shotgun. I've only used it on my geth engineer (I like to use geth weapons on geth, disciple on the justicar etc. when it works) but it felt a lot different from other shotguns and was a lot of fun to use. Hopefully I'll unlock the geth infiltrator eventually so I'll get to play with it some more.

Yes, if your willing compromise there is a weapon for all situations.
Heavy build crusader(please make lighter), light build phaeston.

My favorite weapon is probably the Vindicator even after the nerf. I have more powerful weapons but I always go back to this gun because of the burst fire, reload speed and general weapon behavior seems to work perfectly for my preferred class, the Dell Adept.

Widow, Kishock Harpoon Gun, Cerberus Harrier, Mantis, Talon, Falcon(only in conjunction with a good class build), the Claymore and the Crusader.

My questions this time around are:
"Do you feel there is a good range of weaponry to choose from?"
"Do you feel there is a weapon that fills every niche and level?"
(e.g. - From low: "Give this weapon to the rookie so he doesn't hurt him/herself or anyone else for that matter" to High: "This weapon makes things go away just by its mere presence on the battlefield", and everything in between)
"With the above questions in mind, which is your favourite weapon overall?" I am not asking which you think is the "best", only which one do you simply like to play with most of all.
1. Yes, there is a good range of weaponry, but I'd always love to see more weapons. More weapons gives the MP mode longevity and increases the overall diversity.
2. Not always. Since SMG's can't make use of Ultralight Materials, classes that rely on low cooldown generally just stick with the Carnifex. Carnifex is good, but if something's in your face, it can't get rid of it very quickly. Not to mention that SMG's have relatively low damage as it is, so that deters people from using them even more. It's pretty much considered overall that the Hurricane is the best SMG, and you don't have a lot of chances to even get it/upgrade it.
Fully automatic assault rifles could also use some work. They don't have high enough damage (without the use of consumable equipment) in most cases to justify using them over other guns. They also require you to be exposed for longer amounts of time as opposed to semi-automatic assault rifles or high powered pistols.
3. My favorite weapon is probably the Cerberus Harrier or the N7 Hurricane. Runner-ups would be Geth Plasma Shotgun and the Reegar Carbine.

2.There are few weapons that are really good and they outperform similar weapons in every possible way like the reegar, the krysae, widow vs mantis and so on
3.I like the disciple. It's kinda fun, with the staggering and all, but it lacks power..
edit: and please do not return to ME1's system where every weapon was a direct succesor. I mean, what's the point in using the mattock if you have a harrier, or why should i use the raptor if i had an indra?
Most of the weapons lost their niches in ME3. Please change that and I know you guys can do it, you did well in ME2.
