"With the above questions in mind, which is your favourite weapon overall?" I am not asking which you think is the "best", only which one do you simply like to play with most of all.

There is a good range of weaponry to choose from.  The problem is that so many of them are comparatively totally useless in comparison to better choices that the game doesn't present itself as having a wide variety of options, so much as having a jagged progression of 'Beginner weapons to the one or two weapons in each class that are gold-viable.'  Snipers have the Black Widow/Krysae, and everything else might get you kicked from gold lobbies.  Shotguns have the Claymore and Geth Plasma Shotgun.  You see a Graal Spike Thrower or Reegar every now and then, but the Reegar is such a risky weapon that it can get you kicked from Gold lobbies.  Pistols have the Carnifex and Scorpion.  SMGs - aside from the Hurricane which arguably behaves more like an AR should - are generally carried only to inflict ammo power effects due to their high rate of fire, and Assault Rifles have had a bad reputation all along because of the way full-auto weapons are punished by game mechanics.  Carrying an AR on many classes that isn't a Saber or Falcon is an immediate kick-vote from at least one person in a Gold lobby - and the Saber and Falcon are not typical ARs.
So while there is a good range of weaponry present, it is difficult for me to say that there is a good range of real options, simply because there is always the one or two non-N7 weapon in each class that is considered 'Gold viable' and the others are forced to languish once the high-grade weapon is upgraded because they will earn you a swift kick from most random Gold lobbies.

I do feel that there are weapons that feel every niche and level, including some that players never anticipated to find a niche for.  'Oddball' weapons like the Scorpion, Reegar, Krysae, Falcon, and Geth Plasma Submachine Gun add variety to each weapon class beyond its 'mainstream' usage.  The problem is, again, that there are realistically far fewer options than it first appears because of the 'Gold viable' mentality of many players who tend to ignore the majority of a weapon class and punish others for using them by refusing to let them join games.

My personal favorite weapon is still the Revenant.  I simply feel like it is heavily handicapped by requiring one of the mod slots be devoted to an Armor Piercing mod, and require AP or Incindiary Ammo on top of that, to pose a marked threat to anything protected by armor, which is a problem that most full/semi-auto weaponry currently has.

1.No, there are still weapons awaiting to be implemented (Particle rifle, raider, valkyrie), also too few SMGs, would love to some more.
2. Yes: altough i'm not happy with dlc weapons getting more stronger and stronger, keep the same level of damage if possible, also how much more explosive weapons do you plan to make it's not Bomberman arcade version.
3. Wraith,Claymore,Black Widow,Raptor,Hornet.

1: I feel that there is a good amount of weapons to choose from. It would be nice to have some other choices of heavy weapons. I would also like to see some more SMG weapons. Honestly you can never have to many weapons choices.

2. I find the geth pulse rifle is a very versatile weapon. Its high rate of fire shreds shields and it is quite accurate even without a scope. The M-6 Carnifex and the geth plasma shot gun are also very strong and easy to use in most situations.

3. Love the scorpion, but the Reegar is my favorite weapon. It's as close to a flamethrower as I'm going to get.

1) Yes. Many weapons that have different feels that synergize in a class/power specific way.
2) For filling a niche, probably the carnifex X. Good damage, light (power friendly), easy to use, and accessible. However If I had a higher level Talon I would probably go with that. For sheer effectiveness, I would probably say the claymore or Krysae on an infiltrator. Kyrsae is actually OK on non-infiltrators IMO.
3) Favorite weapon is the falcon.

Yes, I do feel like there is a good range of weapons, although it wouldn't hurt to have a few more that are creative and unique, such as the Krysae and Reegar. But the real problem is their effectiveness, most ARs and SMGs are very outclassed by other weapons.

Yes, there is a good range of weapons that fit into a variety of skill levels, its just that, again, some are outclassed by others.

Favorite weapon overall: Claymore. One shot with monster damage at close range, I love it. Reegar comes in a close second though.

Yes, there are a wide range of weapons to choose from as a beginner. The starter weapons fit roles for novice players quite well.

Yes, there is a good range of weapons which fill each role quite well. More weapons are always welcome, but there is a various range of a few which each player feels more comfortable with, depending on the playstyle, as can be seen with all the opinions aforementioned.

My personal favorites are the Claymore, Graal, Wraith, Talon, Hurricane, Falcon, and Harrier. I can't choose one because I play them each with different classes and moods.

I play on PS3, I can't aim a sh*t because of the pad, so I powerspam. Can't tell if there's "good range of weapons to choose from"or if "there's a weapon for every niche" because I only care about 200% CD.

The only weapon I get to fire more than occasionally is the Reegar, because it gives me some leeway to aim badly (the only way I can aim) and it still hits something.

And no, please no "l2aim". I've been playing PC games with mouseaim since the original Doom came out in 1991 (or was it 1994) (you can spot a deatchmatch noob in Doom if he doesn't know it had a mouseaim) and I'm pretty much too old to learn properly this pad-aim thing.

Thus I keep powerspamming, because I don't have to aim with it.

Yes, i think the range of weaponry is good. Although some Assualt Rifles can be outdone by SMGs. From slowfire and powerful to rapidfire and weakish, there is a great variety to choose from.

?

My personal favorite is the Arc Pistol.

No, the way you guys made the mechanics in this game won't allow a good range of weaponry to be used.

No, not even close, they are either complete trash or amazing.

Favorite weapons Black Widow, Krysae, Reegar, Paladin.

"Do you feel there is a good range of weaponry to choose from?"
It depends. Some weapon classes have a good range, with much variety and good niches to fit into. Others... not as much. Shotguns and Sniper rifles have a good selection. Assault Rifles and Submachine Guns are, in my opinion, horribly neglected. I feel that fully automatic weapons are grossly inferior to the weapon types that are not.

"Do you feel there is a weapon that fills every niche and level?"
No. As a rather new player, I was somewhat underwhelmed by the sheer lack of pistols. See, quite a few classes are very reliant on their CDs. A new player do not have higher ranked weapons that are lighter, nor do they have the gear/weapon modifications to make the weapons good, so a beginning player would likely only stick to a single weapon. Those that can take a heavier weapon, might even want a light sidearm.
Besides the starting pistol (Predator), there is 1 uncommon Heavy Pistol and 3 rare. This usually means that you will go quite a while without an upgrade, and even if you do get another pistol, you have to hope it is a great one. :/

"With the above questions in mind, which is your favourite weapon overall?" I am not asking which you think is the "best", only which one do you simply like to play with most of all.

Heavy Pistol: Scorpion - It has solid area control which is invaluable for a caster. I do not want to shoot things to death, I want to stagger them or control groups until my cooldown is ready. I'll likely also say Carnifex when I try it out, but I just recently got that and haven't had the chance to try it.
Shotgun: Claymore - It has what I want in a shotgun. Sheer damage and stopping power, and the 1 shot magazine means that you HAVE to make it count. It is even efficient in midrange. Great gun.
Sniper Rifle: I have only really tried the Valiant. I really like that gun. It is very accurage, plus it is not bolt action, nor does it have many shots in each magazine so each shot feels like they are "worth" something. It is easier to gather up the damage and spread it around, both on various targets and not take a major penalty through shield gate.
Submachine guns: None. I find the ones I have unlocked to be very underwhelming. The damage per shot is often so miniscule and worthless, it just is not worth carrying. I just can not see myself shooting something to death. I have heard mutterings about the Hurricane, but...even if I get it to X rank, I can not see myself being very keen on trying it. There are far better weapon classes out there to bother with SMGs.
Assault Rifles: I have found these to be somewhat underwhelming as well. I do like the Revenant, for instance, but I find it ridiculous that I need to play with a Turian just for Marksman to enjoy it. I do hear good things about the Harrier. It might be a redeeming weapon, but it is weird to have one or maybe two decent assault rifles that are viable compared the the disgusting amount of shotguns and sniper rifles to choose from. :/

"Do you feel there is a good range of weaponry to choose from?"
There are a lot of weapons, most of which are not Gold viable. Which defeats the point of having so many in the first place. Weapon balance should not swing wildly from difficulty to another as it currently does, mostly due to the armor penalty (and enemy HP and shield gate to a lesser degree). Most rapid-fire weapons do pitiful damage and require you to stay out of cover to reach their potential. Where are the upsides?

"Do you feel there is a weapon that fills every niche and level?"
There needs to be an assault rifle and an SMG that are good for something, but not ultra-rare or N7.

"With the above questions in mind, which is your favourite weapon overall?"
The Graal. Completely overshadowed by a reload-cancelled Claymore, but simply more fun to use. It feels like a weapon a Krogan would use. The Graal requires skill and low latency, but those headshots are very satisfying.

Yes, but I say this with some trepidation as some weapons are either useless (Locust, Hornet) or make you feel dirty using them (Kyrsae, Reegar)

Yes, But I would still love to see a shotgun that isn't quite a Eviscerator, and not quite a Claymore. Shotguns are either HUGE or tiny with no midrange weapons that are more vanilla pellet shooters.

Personal favorites are the Mattock, Talon, Claymore, Eviscerator and Saber.

Yes.

Yes.

Mattock. It may not necessarily be the best gun or an over-powered gun, but it is the one I feel most comfortable and deadly using. Great for short to mid-range, slap on a scope for longer range. Powerful, seems to pack a punch when it hits a target. Feels like you can really focus in and make every shot count.

I want to like the Harrier. I really do. Because it seems like it was meant to be a fully automatic big brother to the Mattock. But that ammo capacity is just awful. The Mattock doesn't have that much more, but because you have to fire each and every shot, it seems like I don't burn through ammo as fast as I do the Harrier, even if I just burst-fire the Harrier. Last thing I want to do is sit on an ammo box in order to be useful (or only use a Batarian with spare ammo bonuses... or use up all my thermal clips for one hacking objective).

I only included the Harrier rant to point out that it would actually be my new favorite over my trusty Mattock, except for that one glaring fault. If things stay current, then the Mattock may forever be my weapon of choice. And I am fine with that.

No, feel there is some need in the heavy pistol department. Each gun feels like an upgrade, phalanx to carnifex to paladin. The other guns being to heavy to be useful.

Yes.

I love the hurricane, but only on a Turian. I also love the mattock, good sound and feel to the weapon. Love the widow and Valiant. Eviscerator looks and sounds cool as wel.

"Do you feel there is a good range of weaponry to choose from?"
Yes, there is quite a decent range of stuff - more than both previous games, so that counts for something.
But I'd like to see a cryo weapon similar to the avalanche in ME2. Maybe in the shotgun slot, I'm not sure. Yes I know I could just slap cryo ammo on the reegar or something, but it's not the same.

"Do you feel there is a weapon that fills every niche and level?"
Yes again, some of them are very poor in comparison to others (eg, incisor compared to krysae).

"With the above questions in mind, which is your favourite weapon overall?" Overall? Tough, but I think the Paladin is my favourite. Second choice would be the wraith.

Good range of weapons, yes, but we could use another heavy pistol or two.
Fill all roles? Yes, but some of them just suck. I'd love to use the crusader like a saber with a bayonet, but it just sucks. Also smgs need some work.

Favorites: harrier, saber, valiant, revenant. That order.

Yes and no. There are a number of good options when choosing shotguns, snipers and pistols, not as many for assault rifles and only 1 decent smg(even that isn't great for a lot of builds).

Yes. Though with ultra light materials not working there is a lack of secondary weapons worth bringing.

Favorites: Claymore, Harrier, Talon, Paladin.

Yes! Though an unfortunately large percentage of the weapons are outclassed in every way by a small handful of guns.

EDIT: Misunderstood the question.

Right now, there is a weapon for almost every niche, but those niche weapons are getting out-performed by general weapons like the Carnifex or the Geth Plasma Shotgun. The Mattock, for example, is out-classed in the "hard hitting semi-auto" department by both the Phalanx and the Carnifex, since to even compete with them in damage you have to mash the trigger so rapidly you lose all accuracy.

Some niches just don't have much value, just because of how Multiplayer works. It'd be hard to list every possible Niche, but most niche weapons are competing directly against the Carnifex, which does every job pretty well. It even used to be a better sniper rifle than the Viper.

"With the above questions in mind, which is your favourite weapon overall?" I am not asking which you think is the "best", only which one do you simply like to play with most of all.

Oh don't make me choose! I love the Cerberus Harrier and Vindicator, even if the latter is currently underpowered. After its buffs, the Arc Pistol's turned into a really fun gun as well. The Scimitar and the Eviscerator both have great handling and are a lot of fun to use.

I want to love the Geth Pulse Rifle and the Javelin, but both guns just have some serious problems.

Well lets take a look at one of the groups shall we?

Assualt Rifles: Mods excluded, Characters excluded

Cerberus Harrier: A powerhouse of a gun, low ammo.
Collector Rifle: High accuracy, low recoil, Great for headshots
Geth Pluse Rifle: Fast fire rate, dead accurate, little to no recoil
M-8 Avenger: Great starter rifle, accurate, decent damage
M-15 Vindicator: Accuarate, moderate recoil mid-level damage
M-37 Falcon: Unique, Versitile, Low damage for a gernade launcher
M-76 Revenent: The Machine gun or assualt rifles, decent damage, low accuracy
M-96 Mattock: Leathel, accurate, moderate ammo.
M-99 Saber: Accurate, deadly, very slow fire rate
Phaeston: Fast, accurate, high ammo, low recoil
Striker: Moderate damage, High recoil, Situational rifle.

Many great weapons here with a decent variety. There are burst fire, full auto, machine gun, super accurate, and very situational rifles here. The thing id like to see more of is the unique rifles to be honest.

The Falcon and Striker are similar but different. The falcon can be fired at corners and around them. The Strkier gets a faster fire rate as you hold the trigger. Aside from those two the rest are just the same assualt rifle with variations. The burst fire of the vindicator, the speed of the phaeston, power of the Harrier, etc..

Each type of gun has a unique one among it.

Assualt Rifles: The Falcon and Striker
Sniper Rifles: The Krysae, Kishock, and Indra
Heavy Pistols: The M-358 Talon, N7 Eagle, and the Scorpion
Submachine Guns: To be Honest they are all just about the same. Full auto, or Semi auto.
Shotguns: Geth Plasma Shotgun, Grall spike Thrower, N7 Crusader, and the Reegar Carbine.

I think you all have done a great job giving us a wide range of guns to use!
However...

Adding more unique weapons could do nothing but benifit you. Even adding more variations of exsisting types could help. Heres an example the Vindicator and the Argus rifle from the campaign are both tripple shot weapons. Yet they differ so much in power level and force they both feel unique. Its a small change that made me feel like I was switching from the Accurate deadly headshotting vindicator to the powerful quick putdown power of the argus.
My Favorite weapon would have to be the Valliant! Its speed and accuracy fit my playstyle very well!

Thanks for a great game Bioware keep up the good work!

Yes.

Lately I've been using a scorpion plus a revenant on a human soldier. Overall claymore and arc pistol. Also hurricane in my turian sentinel.

I do think smg and assault riffles are weak globally with a few exceptions. Even revenant is weak for what I think it should be.

Yes, but there are some weapons which do the same thing, but one is clearly far superior. For instance, the graal and GPS do the same, but the GPS outclasses it in every way. However, yes, i do think there is a very good range of weaponry to choose from.

Yes, but i wish there were some sort of heavier class smg akin to an MP5 in real life that packs a punch but remains quite light that we could use. I feel it could be used well for classes that arent too heavy but arent too light either, the engineer for example, feels like it would benefit from a strong smg. But again, yes, on the whole, there are enough weapons for every nice and level.

Difficult to choose, but the valiant and falcon top my list, but honourable mentions go to the paladin, GPS, claymore, revenant, mattock and krysae.
