Then do hard-saves after every point. That's what I find myself doing often in the Circle of Magi Fade.

On Pc version: I am used to press F5 (quick save) after each fight or after each dialog - this takes you about 2-3 sec for saving and you are not loosing time. F9 would be "Load last save point"

I know this game is linear, but it doesn't go as far as using "checkpoints".

Your about as helpful as a handful of sh!t.

Do Quicksaves/Quickloads F9 Fwhatever, do those overwrite your main save? For example, I have a save called Ongoing, I dont wanna override this unless I really decide to, but I like to save alot under another save called battles, if I do Quicksaves and loads those wont overwite my Ongoing will it?

Quicksaving will only overwrite the quicksave, it will not overwrite any manual saves or the few auto-saves that are in the game.

I have a separate save for each area and overwrite that one for that particular area only. That way I can always go back to an earlier save if I get myself in a messy situation. The game doesn't limit the amount of save games you have, nor does it slow down loading or saving. I say, use as many save slots as you like, it comes in handy at times.

There is only one Quicksave slot and everytime you Quicksave the previous Quicksave is overwritten.  Might want to read the manual and then you'd know how to manage saved games.

This should also be in the Gameplay forum.

If you want any help, lose the attitude.
