Don't know specifically (Don't actually have Ash), but Kaidan's first happens in conversation after rejoining the crew/team after Priority; Citaldel 2. Go talk to him immediately, and you get it (Reave). I suspect that Ash will be the same. SuspicionL Ash's second one happens at the memorial wall.
