One thing is certain. Bioware will not deviate from their vision. They told us this from day one, there is no reason to be shocked by it.
I'd respect the whole 'artistic integrity of the original product' interpretation a bit more if Bioware didn't prove that it had little stock in its original 'artistic vision' by changing several major story elements in the original ending. (For example, apparently the mass relays are no longer destroyed. That's a major change and suggests that Bioware was perfectly willing to deviate from their vision.)

Not sure if I should put this in a spoiler cut. I don't post here often lol, so someone let me know if I should spoiler this even though I'm in a spoiler allowed section.
I'm using the same account to explore all the 3 (four?) endings. So far did Synthesis and Control and the pictures after the Normandy crashes were pretty much the same, but with slight differences. The voice over is different. Synthesis has EDI narrating while Control has an AI Shepard narrating. EDI's narration emphasizes a new begining and how synthetics and organics are rebuilding. Control has AI Shepard talking about immortality and power and how s/he will make sure to repair the galaxy or something. The tone was eerie and very fitting. Synthesis is still my favorite at the moment. Doing the reject next.
So it has been confirmed Shepard lives in Control and he/she becomes a more powerful entity... so I interpretated it correctly the first time I played

We dared to hope for something better and we were let down once again. There are more suckers here right now than in a Charms Blow-Pop factory.

i can confirm that the 'reject all options' choice is real. it only happens if you shoot the star child. his voice will get all scary, he'll say 'so be it' and guess what? YOU LOSE ANYWAY. you see a hologram of liara saying they failed
I see this as a first clue that IT may be correct.
If you reject - according to people - starchild sounds like Harbinger. This may further suggest the theory that Starchild is controlled by the reapers.
Liara says they failed to win against the reapers and starchild says "so be it."
It's an indication that IT may be true.
Part of the theory discusses how "Starchild" is just a fabrication of the Repears to throw shepard off - and have him not choose "Destroy".
When you reject the ending - and Starchild says "so be it" (in Reaper voice) - and Liara says that they weren't able to succeed - it further indicates that Starchild was just a fabrication by the reapers - and the reapers destroyed everyone.
Even though i'm not a IT believer i find it odd that Starchild sounds like Harby.
It may not be harby specifically but it definitely sounds reaperlike.

Lovely your LI tells Joker to leave you behind, silly.
Really? That's lovely...
I waited for one scene - reunion with LI, and that wasn't hard to make. Thanks BioWare. And I got one advise - don't try to be 'epic' you really don't know what it is.
THIS
SO MUCH THIS. I BEGAN TO SHAKE WITH ANGER WHEN I READ THIS.
Also.

I saw this in someone's sig RIGHT after reading this... I won't lie, it broke my heart.
I personally think Garrus would rather DIE with my Shepard than abandon her.

the new scenes do, in fact, start after the beam hits. shepard is thrown in as opposed to just showing up. hackett says that someone made it in. that's it.
copy paste time, here's your destroy ending:
MORE INFO IN REGARDS TO DESTROY ENDING:
*a short clip after the choice is made shows ashley (or your LI) telling joker it's time to go. he looks sad, and they fly off
*asari on thessia are celebrating, krogan on earth/tuchanka are celebrating
*THE MASS RELAY DOESN'T ACTUALLY FALL APART, THE CLOUD JUST ERUPTS, RETCON'D BABY
*hackett voices some epilogue. still shots of some squad mates are shown. squad mates who died are pointed out in still shots as well.
*squad mates shown (in no particular order, not that it matters) - jacob, liara, samara, thane, mordin, wrex, grunt, katsumi, zaeed, tali*quarians are showing standing next to each other. wrex and eve had a baby it seems
*a scene on the normandy happens. ashley (or your LI) places a name plate on the wall in the normandy that has the names of the deceased on it. the plate reads 'commander shepard' (no first name)
*if you got the 'perfect' ending, then that exact same shot of shepard breathing is shown. it was just moved back.
*cut to credits*afterwards, the scene with buzz aldrin happens. nothing's changed*the end message appears to thank you instead of implore you to buy more dlc from them
in summation, IT theory given a nice, big **** YOU, the plot holes are still there, they only retcon'd the relays being destroyed (they're just damaged now), admiral hackett goes bob the builder on us (can we fix it? yes we can!), and you get some still shots.
no reconvening with your LI, no house for tali, no drinks with garrus, no candy rave with jack, none of your actual choices are actually addressed, point, blank, period, the end.
"the storm approaches. we speak no more"

There's no EDI in Destroy ending, she shows up, when Shepard shots the tube (Anderson, EDI, LI). I'm assume, geth will die too. :/

Man, I'd almost rather have Joker betray Shepard than Garrus.
Well, how is it betrayal ? Was it betrayal when Lando didn't even think about trying to pick up Luke when they blew up the death star ? Was in Betrayal when Aragorn didn't jump after Gandalf at Khazad Dum ? Was it betrayal when Sattler left Muldoon when he told her to run in Jurassic Park ? There's no point in sacrificing more people when the outcome is (or seems) hopeless...

People wanted a 'Reapers win' scenario as a result of not being prepared. Y'know, an actual loss. Not Shepard's fighting spirit thrown back in his face by the cruel puppetmasters out of spite.
Yeah, the problem with the 'Reapers Winning' in this context is that the Reapers "win" by Shepard remaining true to the same ideals that were major themes in ME1 and ME2. It's like Bioware punishes you for playing Shepard as true to him/herself.
Absolutely agree. I wanted "Reapers win", but as Aris Ravenstar said, not like this. It's like now you have to choose - kill only one race, or kill them all? And the said part, that my Shepard would probably choose this variant, because it's more consistent with her character. As you said, we are punished for staying true to ourselves.
and sometimes thems the breaks. You want everything but want to do nothing in return. You are told repeatedly that the Crucible is the last hope and if you do nothing it has consequences. You made a decision and it backfires. Deal with it.
I'm glad that they didn't do a "unicorns and lollipops" ending as it would go against everything in the lore up until this point. Its a war against an almost unbeatable foe (there's more than one capital ship), there are going to be casualties. The choice is up to Shepard if its just his/her self, the geth and edi, or pretty much everyone
