Can anyone confirm when new scenes really start? Did Cerberus HQ and now about to start the attack from the base on earth but haven't seen nothing new yet.

I think new scenes only start after Harby hits you.

As soon as you go into the beam, you get a new little cutscene, and Shepard gets thrown across the hallway he poofs into.

Halfway through Priority Earth and nothin' new.

Yep. All I really wanted was a scene where Shep's LI discovered she was alive. Really all I wanted. But I guess there were far fewer of us than I realised.

One of the goals for the Extended Cut, as part of addressing player feedback, was to provide more time with the love interest, and more opportunity for players to say goodbye to them and provide additional moments of connection between them. We did this in several ways:
  • Shepard can now actually say goodbye to the love interest when they are split up at the conduit run.
  • When Shepard sees flashbacks of important characters during the final decision, the flashbacks are now variable based on your playthrough – so your love interest can appear as one of the flashbacks, providing another moment of reflection between Shepard and that character.
  • A memorial scene was added, partly to show a close bond between Shepard and the love interest. The scene is variable, and if Shepard has a love interest in a given playthrough, it will be that character who places Shepard’s name on the memorial wall.
  • You may notice that in the “Shepard lives” ending, the love interest hesitates to place Shepard’s name on the wall, and instead looks up as though deep in thought. This is meant to suggest that the love interest is not ready to believe Shepard is dead, and the final scene reveals they are correct. As the Normandy lifts off, there is hope that the love interest and Shepard will again be together.

I still don't see why a single reunion scene would have been too much to ask.  Is it that terrible to have at least one ending that isn't grim-dark-grim?

It makes sense in IT terms....we've been theorizing about the idea that Starchild is nothing but a fabrication of the reapers.

So if that is true (IF that is true) - doesn't that make perfect sense that it would sound like Harby??

Or y'know if the Catalyst is the boss of the reapers (as we are told) it might sound like them when pissed off?

Pause: I saw something new. Shepard, Garrus and Liara are running to the beam. Garrus and Liara almost get crushed by the Mako, they are injured. Shepard calls for the Normandy to come get them. That is how they got on the ship, no one else got this clip???

Man, I'd almost rather have Joker betray Shepard than Garrus.

Well, how is it betrayal ? Was it betrayal when Lando didn't even think about trying to pick up Luke when they blew up the death star ? Was in Betrayal when Aragorn didn't jump after Gandalf at Khazad Dum ? Was it betrayal when Sattler left Muldoon when he told her to run in Jurassic Park ? There's no point in sacrificing more people when the outcome is (or seems) hopeless...

...Since when did *Garrus* of all characters give a damn about the odds, or whether a situation's unwinnable? He'd follow you straight into hell if given the chance.
Your squadmates *promised* you they had your back in the final mission, win or lose, live or die.

And again, it's WORSE if you consider if you had a romance with Garrus. No Shepard without Vakarian. He would rather die with Shepard than have her go down alone...

...God, I'm not crying, I SWEAR.

There is hope, but hope isn't as carthartic as an actual payoff you know. All in all, still pretty disappointing.

Nope, I think it would have been the smallest denominator for Bioware to make the EC "good" for a lot of people...

Plotholes, green/red/blue, I stopped to care two months ago, all I wanted was to see my Shepard holding her LI in her arms and screen fade to black

THAT would have given me a feel of triumph, of victory! That Shepard, the symbol of hope, lives on and helps the galaxy! Anything else can go to artistic hell if you ask me...

So they could not explain how Shepard survived the explosion.

Figures...

Nor did they explain how the squad got onto the Normandy before it crashed. Nor how the ship survived that crash to then take off again (which strikes me as a last-minute change, otherwise why even have them crash in the first place?). Boy, don't you love all this clarification?

Minor nitpicky thing here - Lando never knew Luke was on the Death Star.  ;)

I shall ask again for some more details regarding the Control ending if someone checked it. What really happens with Shepard? He becomes an AI? And then what? He runs away with the Reapers? Stays? Where? As what? And what about the Reapers? They just go away or become the local cyberpolice? Need more info :x

I would say that Shepard basically becomes the Catalyst and now is the AI of the collective reapers.in the dialogue, it's pretty clear that she is an AI and distances herself from the actual Shepard. The AI is seen rebuilding the galaxy with reapers.

With the exception of the first point, will the other LI as Jack and Miranda appear too?

This hope was there in the original content as well. EC didnt changed anything. People hoped for lots of things and you could easily make some quick branches and fulfil those hopes with appropriate content. Instead you made two steps ahead but then still stopped and pretty much told people to keep hoping.

What really concerns me is that you have to explain this!
If I can not see it or understand what this is meant to mean, then really the story teller has failed.

So...how DOES Shepard survive and end up back on Earth? Or where does this breathe-scene in concrete takes place? So much for clarification and closure...

The new ending went as I expected.

Just as I've thought it did in my head. :)

Loved it. Because it met my expectations of how I saw them go at the end of ME3. Imo people overreact too much, but still they got the right to do so.
