I am honestly quite happy with this. It should have been there to begin with in the first place, but it ended up better then expected. At least for me.

Agreed. It should have been there in the first place. But I appreciate the effort BioWare, I really do. The change to the DLC message at the end was appreciated.
I do thank you for your efforts, but I remain unfulfilled nonetheless.

Screw the rules, I have money.
I was satisfied. There's still a few things that bug me, like why Harbinger didn't just shoot the Normandy out of the sky when picking up your party members, but overall I'm happy with the Extended Cut.

Crap.
Explaining crap endings for such a wonderful franchise still results in crap sadly. Additional scenes in a vague attempt to explain why the endings were the way they were still result in everything that was bad about the endings previously. The destroy ending is the only viable option still. Refuse the starchild and everyone dies? Shepard would never listen to the starchild, especially now given it was explained that the starchild is in essence there to preserve the thoughts of the species the Reapers conquer and wipe out? Really? Really?
Loved the series and thoroughly enjoyed the 3rd game up till the endings. The Mass Effect series without Shepard holds no interest for me in the future. You could and should have done much better Bioware, much like with SWTOR.
