So, you can't actually back up what you are saying. The EC has been out for only a few hours. Even if Bioware could poll everyone, it is way too early right now to make such a bold assertion.

Precisely. Are there those who will still hate it because there were no blue brats or IT or whatever? Sure.

But many who hated the endings before seem to be pleased by the EC. Hopefully I'll be one of them.

Irrelevant. You are making a very broad statement with insufficient evidence and whether or not it is a small dlc makes little difference - people still haven't downloaded/played/been able to access it/waiting for youtube uploads.

You're making wild assertions at the moment.

Better and I despised the original ending. If this had been the original ending I wouldn't have been mad and actually satisfied.

As for the couple people whining about the plotholes....they answered everything save the quarian/geth conflict.

Note I said "better" not "great". There was only so much Bioware could do when it came to staying within the ideas of the original endings (as opposed to "recreating" it all over again). If this had been the original ending, then perhaps Retake ME wouldn't have had so much support, but people would have been pissed. Not as many perhaps, but still some.

You can only make a poorly written ending so good (I don't TRULY mean that as an insult, despite how it may be seen). The Star-Kid is a poorly written piece of Deus Ex crap. I don't care how much it is explained, it will always seem jarring and out of place.

But, considering this is the best we'll get, I suppose I'm satisfied.
