Sure, they've just polished their turd, but it's got a really nice glossy shine to it now, and they even sprayed fabreze on it so it dosn't stink up the rest of the series.

Could pretty much any other ending have been better? Yes, and Mac Walters should neve be allowed to be head writer of any game ever again, but at least the universe isn't trashed and the character we actually care about are no longer completely screwed.

Satisfied. Explains what i was wondering. This is what i wanted and expected. Only seen destroy but im now a happy camper. The ones still hating have;

a) not seen the new ending and are just trolling

expectations that are too high regardless and are just hating for the fun of it

c) expectations that are too high and never going to be pleased no matter what
