"Clarified"? But still bad, you die no matter what you do and never get to go back to your friends or love interest. There should have been an option for a good ending. I'm still disapointed.

boo.
I wanted to know what happened to Shepard after the destroy ending but the same breathing scene just pissed me off. Nothing artistic about that. talk about closure...

Despite how much people try to disprove it, Bioware clearly intended that "breath at the end" to be Shepard surviving, so no, you don't "have" to die, you just can't play after you survive.
Also, a lesson you need to learn in life, not all things end in a good way. Sometimes a mediocre ending is the best you can do. Suck it up, soldier. Just because people died doesn't mean it wasn't a victory.

This isn't real life, it's fiction. So just give the people what they want.

I can't do one word but I can keep it short:
Youtube it
Political agenda promoting socialist, ****, and horrible ideals(in the order of Control, synthesis, and destroy)
Indoctrination theory incorrect on all levels
JOKER and shepards team are weakwilled cowards that blindly follow orders without argument
And defending the freedom of a democratic civilization only gets you killed(fourth option)
FTL travel surpasses the relays
and most of all
When you question an ending instead of answering the questions in the same way the series had set up since the first game, we'll just alter the endings to change the line of questioning.
Basically the same things we were left guessing about in the original ending have partially been answered but oddly enough most of the plot contradictions are still there.
Joker still runs like a coward, yet he was the man who sided with cerberus to serve commander shepard flies the normandy away without tears, or garrus doing the same thing telling joker to follow hacketts orders, the explosions regarding the relays have been changed so the relays barely get touched, then we go to the different planets yada yada yada, no going to go into more detail but the point I am trying to make is this doesn't change anything so my best word to describe the new cookie cutter endings is this.
