I may have wanted a different ending but at least this expansion make the choices easier to tolerate. Now it just bugs me that these were not the endings that came with the original game.

Passable.

It doesn't quite raise the series back to the heights it could have reached if it had chosen a stronger finish, but it turns the endings from "absolutely godawful" to "weak," which is honestly the best I think we could have hoped for when they told us they weren't changing the basic ending details.
