How ridiculous can one be.. Have you actually played through the original ending? The Starbrat addresses all Reaper issues in the form of 'WE'. He IS a REAPER or Reaper-made-tech. The Reapers just gave him that form, as Shepard was constantly haunted by the thoughts, he could not save that kid back on Earth!

Yeah I just played through all the brats dialog, and it seems to be like the kid is the consciousness of all the reapers in one avatar.

I see this as a first clue that IT may be correct.

If you reject - according to people - starchild sounds like Harbinger.This may further suggest the theory that Starchild is controlled by the reapers.

Liara says they failed to win against the reapers and starchild says "so be it."
It's an indication that IT may be true.

Part of the theory discusses how "Starchild" is just a fabrication of the Repears to throw shepard off - and have him not choose "Destroy".

When you reject the ending - and Starchild says "so be it" (in Reaper voice) - and Liara says that they weren't able to succeed - it further indicates that Starchild was just a fabrication by the reapers - and the reapers destroyed everyone.

Partially true. According to EC, Catalyst was created by 'Creators' (Possibly new problem in ME4) and Catalyst offered a solution for syntetics - organics war by wiping races who has tech to create AI. Then Creators accepted this and they became first Reapers (Harbinger was one of them possibly)

Also i didnt see Harbinger got destroyed, maybe it'll return in ME4.

The Normandy is fine, and looked to be on their way home. That said, it seems they believe Shepard is dead, as Liara holds a new plaque for the wall. They fly off the jungle world, and then you still get the breath scene. Enough for a head canon happy ending, easy.

I played two endings with FShepard and Kaidan as LI. In " Destroy" ending he didn't place her name on monument and smiled, as he knew somehow, that Shepard survivew. In " Control" ending he placed her name on the wall it's clear they know she died...So yes, there is a hint, that probably re-union is possible.

Also what happened to the creators of the reapers, if the kid(the reaper hivemind) is to be believed, is that they became the very first reaper.

The same what happenned to abducted human colonies. The Creators became the first DNA goo for the first Reapers made (thus the Harbinger and crew resemble the Creators).

You can't be serious at this point.  Every ending shows the aftermath of the choices made.  It shows scenes after Shepard dies.  What, is Shepard dreaming after he dies now?  In Control Shepard does a voice over explaining how he'll now protect the galaxy and he uses the Reapers to rebuild.  If he dies in any of them the crew is shown putting his name on the wall in the Normandy.  The crew is shown returning from the garden planet in all of them.  If you choose destroy with enough EMS to live when your LI goes to put the plaque on the wall but pauses indicating they think you may not have died then they show the breath scene.  All of them show images of your crew after you make your choice.  Everything is real.  Everything is quite literal.

No not at all, it even made me lose more respect for Bioware. ME3 is the last game I ever buy form Bioware/EA(SATAN). It was nice knowing you guys last time I every visit this forum... do it for the lols:?

There seemed to be some Twitter hints pre-EC launch that Geth/EDI might survive Destroy after all, that the Starchild may have been wrong/lying. Is there any evidence of surviving Geth/EDI in the new Destroy ending?

nope.  i'm still giggling at the ridiculous glorification of synthesis.

its like a giant kumbaya enlightement circle.

for IT - destroy was supposed to be rejection option.  now, there's an actual rejection option... that results in reapers winning.  I'd say, that's bioware's way of saying to the fans - IT is definitely NOT canon and NOT intended.

Just did destroy with 4k+ EMS about 10 minutes ago. Didnt see EDI or any Geth.

I will say this much for the EC, it did expand on the endings like it promised to, so working as intended.

Though I giggled at the sight of the synth being we are all close buddies and pals, and the reapers are sharing all their knowledge of all previous cultures and helping to rebuild and advance the galaxy for the cybory master race.

and can't leave out Shep-god for control.

despite all that though, the one thing that I am very glad the EC did, was making it so that the Relays and the citadel survived and got rebuilt.

How so? Bioware had said in no uncertain terms that the EC would not address any of our complaints when they first announced it. In the podcast released a week ago, they, again, said that the EC would not address any of our complaints.

All the while, they had pretended that we wouldn't notice them not addressing our complaints - how, exactly, do you lose further respect after that?

Meh, control and destroy are a little better, but a different ending would have been way more awesome. Synthesis is just plain stupid and its strange how Bioware tries to sell it as the best ending. *Sigh*

Still, Im cool with destroy and control. I wish we could see Shep talking with the crew in the destroy ending though...
