I encountered some kind of bug, whenever I shapeshift Morrigan into the flying swarm mode, instead of attacking normally she uses winters grasp. Not just once but repeatedly, like thrice in a second. since she is in another form she cant cast the spell but it still drains her mana and stops her from attacking. She stops only when her mana is emptied. Problem is, I dont even have winters grasp in her tactics. The only workaround appears to be not switching to other characters while shapeshifted, which is annoying. How can I fix this?

Don't know if anybody else has encountered the same problem, but I have tried this a couple more times and it appears that she is not only casting winter's grasp but other spells too (like horror) - though it's hard to tell, the names come up and go very quickly because she's trying to cast like dozens of spells one after the other.



Thanks for not caring. I know that an official bug list may reveal how buggy the game is, but it would make us feel better because we'll know that our problems are at least acknowledged.

Yeah, i noticed this bug too. But that's the least of my problems at the moment. I can't even get the game to start all of a sudden.

Me too. I think disabling tactics altogether seemed to fix it, though it could've been coincidence.

Same problem. Disabling the tactics sometimes works, but generally doesn't. The only consistent work-around is to manually control her.

In the tactics page, on the bottom left, there's a disable all tactics. This button worked to prevent her from failcasting.

Yeah me too. This sucks. I can give her bear form tactics and it works but as flying swam she ignores the "divide swarm" tactic that I made and instead destroys her mana by fail casting winter's grasp. Does this happen to all versions of Dragon Age? I play on Wine on Linux.

Same bug here too.. Too bad because I would like to let her use tactics and keep my focus mainly on PC.
