No. It isn't. I, for one, am going to continue to light up the boards like a Christmas Tree.

Not done yet.

They've moved from terrible to decidedly average.

*Sigh* No.
It was better. It raises the game from a 6/10 to a 7/10. It addresses some things...
But overall... It was less than what was needed and still has glaring plot holes.
I'm sorry Shepard, Liara, Garrus, Samara, Tali, all of you. I am done with Mass Effect. I am done with Bioware. I expected more from you. I still have no closure.
I feel disappointed.

Apart from War Assets not being seen in action, the EC was brilliant.

Bioware are forgiven, and they get extra brownie points for removing DLC from the ending message. xD

It doesn't Destroy the ME universe for me so yeah all is forgiven. I can move on now.

Just showed 3 of my colleagues from school the 4 endings to Mass Effect 3, they decided not to buy the game now.

No. If we saw our war assets in action and got a reunion scene, then yes, BioWare would have redeemed themselves!

Was what I expected and good enough to make me glad I didn't return the game.

For me? No. The EC addressed very few of my issues with the ending and punched me in the gut with the way they dealt with the new one that I wanted - reject.

It's... acceptable. Much better. They need to release the new version of The end once and for all song. It's much improved.
Indoctrination theory ending would have been pretty cool though.

I will not be silly and say I will never buy a Bioware game again. However, Bioware is no longer a developer whose games I will preorder. I will wait and see what the user reviews (not the big gaming sites, I no longer trust them) are.

is the ending better?... well. yeah ok it's better. but not in a good way. kind of like eating a dog turd vs eating a dog turd with some sprinkles.

I guess if you pick out the parts of the ending you like, kind of like pick the sprinkles off the **** then it would be bearable... barely.

but how do I feel about it? still makes me want to puke... like a cat *hocks up a hairball*

No, but at least they have tried. It is just simply not the way I expected to finish this big title/series. Changing from a huge RPG game to an action game, I was so excited during the time between ME2 and ME3 that I had to draw out a flowchart of my own ( with all the classes and decisions ) preparing for ME3 and see how things would mix. Despite ME3 is still an exciting game to play, I just ended feeling nothing from 1 & 2 really mattered with it. Not the RPG I'd always remembered with ME1 and 2.

Sometimes, nothing is better than something bad. If the game finished on Shepard/Anderson scene near consol, that would be X100 times better than any EC.

I'll take it!

Yeah, the EC isn't outstanding, but it makes playing through the ending tolerable at least.  And at least they tried to fix some of the more glaring bull-****, and at least it was free.

Honestly, had this been the original set of endings, I would have been satisfied with it.  Not happy with it, but satisfied enough that I didn't spend a month raging on these boards...

Do like.

With the old trio, it seemed like Destroy was the only logical ending. With the extended versions, I like Control and Synthesis a lot more. I also like the Refusal ending. I personally wouldn't pick it, but I like that it's there. Fitting conclusion to the cycle continuing, a Liara VI playing somewhere underground. It's not perfect, but it'll do, pig. It'll do.

No, definitely no.
The disappointment was so big a few months ago that i stopped playing, not only the ME trilogy, but any kind of video games. Then i took pleasure again with amalur or dragon's dogma.

a few minutes more added to an already broken ending doesn't change much. Starkid is still here, his flawed logic also, synthesis is shown even more as the best ending (and i think THIS is disgusting), no reunion scene, plotholes still shine.

the only thing that i really liked was the extraction/love scene between shep and kaidan.

and i can't be satisfied with a slideshow ending.

The endings are an improvement on the originals, they are still crap though. I can't bring myself to forgive BiowarEA, not when they deemed the original endings perfectly acceptable for release, and not for the way they went about defending the endings either.

BiowarEA have lost a lot of good will with me, and it is going to take a little more than a few cut-scenes to to repair that.

I was never holding a grudge against Bioware anyway, but I'd say so, aye. I didn't want to ride off in to the sunset with my love interest anyway (at least not being shown it) so it was great for me!

Well...

I didn't like the original ending, but it didn't destroy the game for me so I have no reason to forgive Bioware. I would like to say that the EC really made the ending shine for me much better. Thank you for this content Bioware and thank you for adding that bit during the run for the citadel. Tali was there and that moment was what I was looking for in the original ending.

Thank you again from a loyal fan.

Well, it's still not perfect, but I can live with it now. At least they're trying very hard to explain some of the major things that don't make sense (Synthesis) and changed some of the minor glitches (Joker, Mass Relays), so they work better. The Starbrat is still annoying as hell, but hey, every space opera needs its JarJar Binks. It makes hope that all is not lost with BioWare, but they will have to work hard to ever get back to that point with me where I would pre-order a BioWare game.
