All I have to do now is choose all the endings, and then play it with different characters to see if they added a lot of different stuff :-)
Is EC satisfying enough to forgive?

Definitely better than before... still leaves the major problems with ME3 which is a B-movie plot filled with holes.
Still though I definitely appreciate that BW delivered this content

To say I forgive them is to assume I was mad at them to begin with. This forum picture should tell you how I feel on the matter and if you still don't get it I will explain it. I had faith Bioware would pull through and will always be a Bioware fan. I will however forgive them for making SWTOR and not KOTOR 3.

No
Edit: Why? Cause this should have been the ending in the first place. The publicity damage has been done and make me question the purchase of every game bioware makes now.

The ending is acceptable, but nothing amazing.
I won't forget what they've done, and I will never preorder from them ever again.

As someone noted earlier, I can forgive a screw up, but I won't be forgetting. I certainly won't be preordering DA3, but I will buy in new rather than used which was my original plan.
The EC does nothing to bring the game back into the realms of well-thought-out sci-fi, leaving it in the realm of space-fantasy, but it makes it clear that the setting isn't ruined forevar like it seemed before. Thats enough to make me grudgingly satified, since I was always grieving more for the setting than Shepard. I don't mind Shepard dying heroically, and and odds are s/he doesn't with high enough EMS on destroy (which is my headcanon ending). I also like that you can now refuse the Catalyst and the way its voice changes. Almost as if its the good ending, even though it results in the 'Cycle' continuing.
Basically, it will do. I might even re-play ME3 again at some point... maybe. The interest s pretty much gone. It took them too long to release this, not that it could be helped.

Okay, so admittedly this is going off of what I saw on youtube but I am...less pissed. This may be residual burning hatred for the original ending coloring my view of the EC, but the ending has merely gone from soul crushing to tolerable. But at the end of the day that was all I really wanted. All I wanted was something that made me able to play the game again without wanting to throw my computer out the window in sheer frustration at the end. I'm still never preordering a Bioware game ever again, but now I might possibly consider buying future ME3 SP DLC. Forgiven - yes, forgotten - never.

so people actually do like the original ending, cause thats what you have here with a slideshow. And the exact same issues.
Wrong.
Anyway yeah sure. Looking forward to the next DLC.
Really? They won't get a single dime for DLC from me. All future products I buy from them will be bargain bin products when they no longer matter to their bottom line.

I think you're asking the wrong people tbh this is the BSN, the place where appreciation and respect go to die.

Dragon Age 3 will be their 3rd commercial failure in a row and the nail in their coffin.
EA might make them do shooters since Bioware has destroyed its own niche market.
Forgive? Nope. Buying all my EA games used until I die.
Never buying a Bioware title again not even used.

It's slight better than before but not really impressive so no.
The way the destroy ending ends still leaves me with questions that the 2 minute slideshow didn't answer.

Eh, not completely.
While I like the fact that in the destroy ending there's a small chance you're actually alive and will be reunited and that the universe isn't totally screwed. Still gotta deal with that idiotic Reaper/God/Starchild thing and that stargazer scene at the very end.

The Normandy leaving is explained, and the crash is no longer permanent. The relays don't appear to be entirely destroyed (at least in the synthesis ending, can't speak for the other two yet). The Catalyst and the Reapers' motivations are fleshed out a lot more. Still not sure I like it, but it makes a bit more sense than it did before.
I personally forgive them. The only thing i didn't like about the endings was the lack of explanation and the general detachment from the rest of the trilogy. That remains, but a lot of stuff is explained and I personally don't mind a bittersweet ending - the epilogue slides really do take it up from bleak to bittersweet imo. Especially seeing the Normandy leave the planet it crashed on.

I can live better with EC than without, frankly. Waiting for the reveal of Mass Effect 4 now. They'll pull a Halo on us, I see it. In the FUUTUUUUUURRRRREEE!
