I was wondering, howcome the main theme (or at least how I see it) from the first two games only show up for thirty seconds in ME3?

Right, should probably say it. The little riff in the Mass Effect Theme shows up a bit in Spectre Induction, and both are realised in The End Run/suicide Mission. But it's pretty much out of ME3 except for a bit in The Fleets Arrive, but that quickly moves into some random WWII sounding Soundtrack.

To me, this song sort of symbolises the fight that Shepard goes through, so why leave it out except for a scene that has no real bearing on Shepard themself?
