 Ever since I completed my first ME3 playthrough i've been on these forums blasting Bioware for thier horrible ending. My expectations were very low for this "extended cut" which may have had some sort of positive affect on my views of it. So i'll start with the what I liked first.

Each endings were expanded on and , by themselves, made more sense. Still a few questions here and there but, all in all, much better then the original edited versions of the ending. Honestly, if these were the endings released with the game people would have been singing a much different tune. I like the addition of *spoiler alert* the refusal choice. We get to tell the catalyst to go f*ck itself. I always felt that should have been an option from the start. Although along side the ability to put all of our EMS to work and go down swinging or come out on top. In my opinion that would have been preferable. And also. Thanks for changing that horrible message at the end of the game. "You are a legend. Give us more money. You mad bro?" This just about made my throw my kitten at my screen.

Now for the bad.

My main issue with the original ending was not the lack of clarity or closure but that the endings didn't fit the rest of the series. The story telling makes a big shift into "wtf" terretory in those last few minutes talking to the catalyst. Although the EC did help make sense of what we had, in my opionion, what we had is not what we wanted.

But i'm going to leave that alone for now and just say thanks for not half assing the EC like a lot of people in my circle expected you to. It's not perfect. But it's way better then what was originally released. I think it's only fair to say so since i've been here blowing you guys up for the past few months.

Now i'm off to get some sleep.
