That was my ultimate wish, see Shepard cheat death again and get up from the rubble and look up to the stars or some sort, but Extended Cut didn't even do that...
Yeah sure, it's "artistic integrity", making the fans wonder what's next, but Bioware said no more Shepard after ME3, thus, that's all we're getting. Thanks to that, I'm extremely confused... couldn't Bioware ultimately satisfy their fans with an aftermath scene with Shepard standing up? Or will they just use Mass Effect was an EA Call of Duty to make ME4: Future Warfare 1, ME5: Future Warfare 2 and FW3?
I'm disapoint... and confused...

Yeah, thats basically all I wanted too. Screw the LI and mushy mushy kissy kissy endings. I just wanted Shep to get up and smile or something. Even if we needed 29347837489234 EMS to do that.

I would have liked to have seen an actual cutscene in the game with that happening, but having the LI look like they know Shepard is still alive and the Normandy flying off softens the blow a little bit. Maybe they go right back to Earth and find him, who knows.

Shepard is most likely on the Citadel, it isn't totally destroyed.
In fact it gets rebuilt eventually.

Sounds like more speculation. Just what i wanted to do. Buy the Full game, the end of a trilogy, and "speculate" as to what the ending is. If i knew it was going to be like that i would have saved my money and "dreamed" a better ending.
