Played it, dug it! Great! Didn't hate the original ending by a long chalk, was basically fine with it, but a lot happier with the new one. Much more optimism - did shed a little tear, shame on me.

BioWare didn't need to do this, but they did, they did it for free, over many months, and they did a good job on it. Cheers, guys!

EC was the best thing I saw in video gaming history. Seriously who hacked the original master disc and removed it in the first place (kidding).

I am literally moved by this ending. I also just found out I passed my exam, so I may literally burst in tears Long live the Mass Effect universe, because its glory was restored.

I'm so glad to read such comments. I was okay with the ending to begin with, but it's still so nice to see more people enjoying it. Can't wait to play the EC myself.

I know it's hard to make the changes when majority is in (well... righteous) nerd rage. I, for one, was more than pissed of with original ending (truth to be told, after finishing me3 first round, I have played totally ~45 minutes anything in three months, it was pretty much hit in stomach).

I also know there will still be unhappy people with EC. But for me EC has made it possible to take a second, maybe third... well... multiple playthroughs with me3... well and do what I planned to do in first play, all-new-playthrough through the whole trilogy.. I thank you good sirs and ma'ams for restoring my faith to ME3. Now it's time to  take my xbox out of mothballs and kick some reaper whatevertheyhave

The fact that BioWare is still a division of EA is enough not to buy their games, at least in my opinion. Anything EA touches is destroyed.

Haven't played it yet (just finished the Cerberus mission and had to leave before the good stuff), but was dying to know what people think of it. I was afraid to go anywhere for fear it would be spoiled, but tried here.

I have a feeling if it was like this when the game came out, the backlash would not have been nearly as severe.

 I have to say THANKS, to all of you in this thread. I'm so sick and tired of seeing all the gripes, moans, etc. This was a fantastic series that provided MASS amounts of entertainment and had a profound EFFECT on the gaming community, even for those who hated the ending. It's great to see there are still folks in this world that haven't forgotten how far a simple thank you can go. With the time, effort and money sunk into this DLC, love it or hate it, it's the least we can do.

Of course thank you Mass Effect team, for bringing us some of the best characters and stories a gamer can spend their time with. Regardless of all the hate flying around there are still a lot of us who absolutely <3LOVE  this series and all you've done with it.

Thanks Bioware, although I was disappointed in the original endings it was not like a close friend stabbed me in the back as many people felt, but these endings explained all the misgivings, inconsistencies and problems that were present.

Some people will never be satisfied and unless it's down to 100% of their specification may never be. But remember the complaints are largely a minority. Thanks.
