I also want to thank Bioware.

Like many people, I too did not like the original ending. Not because I didn’t like what happened, but rather because of some plot holes, contradictions, choices that did not matter and lack of closure. Despite loving the game up until the end, I felt rather let down by the ending and even lost desire to play the game. I have actually not played through the new ending, but rather watched it on video. Either way, I feel that the extended ending added the most important things that were missing from the original. It explained enough, without spelling it all out, it cleared a lot of the dangling threads and it added a much needed sense of closure.

So I want to thank Bioware for listening to the fans and for understanding that it was more than just people who didn’t want the story to end this way that were complaining. Thanks for putting the time and effort to change things, when you could have easily ignored the issue. Whether people like the final explanation or not, I think a lot would agree that the extended ending added the quality that was missing from the original. I truly enjoyed it and I think I might give the game another go very soon :)

The ending was so awesome that i immediately started a renegade character, so I could play again. I think that they would have achieved the same ending if it wasn't for EA and them pushing bioware to release the game. rEApers and their damn policies

I thank Bioware for the extended cut as it turned a terrible F grade ending into a much better B grade one. It reclaimed the franchise in my eyes and was everything I hoped for, my personal favourite endings were synthesis and redusal. Synthesis felt like a natural progression of my story and the refusal turned the series into an epic pseudo-prequel for a cool plot concept of " what if you know that doomsday is coming, yet everything and anything you try to survive could be futile."

I hated the original endings, and found the EC satisfying. Thanks a lot for that. It has resparked my will to finish my renegade playthrough and start over from ME1, things that I couldn't bring myself to do after the original ending.
My only regret is that I think there was still a missed opportunity with the last mission, that was a mundane "hellgate london" map, and where the EMS wasn't actually *shown*. It could have been great, and it finally went from horrible to good. So I am not complaining too much :)

I agree, my sincerest thanks to everyone at Bioware for making Mass Effect replayable again.

I did not get a happy ending but I did get a satisfying one.

Hated the original endings but this is a big improvement. It's not A+ stuff, B- if I'm feeling generous; a passing grade. I really like what they did with the control ending; originally I would have never picked that, now I rather like it.

Where the EC has succeeded though is that I'll actually play this game again; I stopped 2 weeks after release and now feel like picking it up again.

I've only checked out the new fourth ending for now and I still want to congratulate Patrick Weekes and doing some excellent work even though he had such a poor base to work with. The run towards the conduit in particular was turned into a very powerful scene. Excellent work.

(And if Patrick Weekes wasn't in charge of the EC, someone tell me now before I start repeating it.)

Thanks Bioware this DLC fixed a lot of problems with the ending.
I hope this will motivate you to tell EA to F**** of the next time they want you to rush a project out the door.

Goed gedoen. :)

Hated the original ending. After playing the ext. version... I still hate it. You just added content to the pile of nonsense and contradictions in the ending that go against your own previously established ME lore. Wish I could say I was surprised, but unfortunatly... I´m not.

Hello Bioware

I wanted to thank you for the extended Cut. I hated the original Ending and I love the new one. The new one is epic, emotional and gives the feeling that Sheppard has achieved a big change for the better.

All I can say is THANK YOU!!

I didn't actually dislike the originally ending(s) - believe it or not :P - despite being far less than perfect (yeah, yeah, no kidding, haha =]). But this... I've finished my first EC ending, and I loved it (Destroy ). And I have a lot of different Sheps, so there's many different variations to go! :wizard:

So, thank you Bioware. :)

I loved it! Although I was one of the staunch believers in the IT, I find that these endings totally throw that entire concept out the window. Which is fine with me because I actually got closure...despite crying like a baby on the wall of the fallen scene...but still thank you so much BIOWARE for doing this for us...you gave me my hope in the series back and I look forward to more stories in the Mass Effect Universe!

I'm glad I'm hearing positive comments regarding the EC so far. I had actually held of from finishing Mass Effect 3, while I waited for the EC to be released, due to the shear amount of negative comments regarding the original endings. Now I'm excited to finish it :)

Have to say, I actually liked the original endings, though I'd have liked to see some more explanation and the events afterwards. Luckily, the ending wasn't changed, but I've been granted everything I wished for. Finished the game again with the Extended Cut just now. I want to say THANK YOU BIOWARE and that I am absolutely satisfied. Everything beautifully wrapped up, everything explained, while still some place left for us to figure out. And, the original idea is kept all along. In my honest opinion, this is the ending this great game and the most epic series of these years deserved, and it finally brings a satisfying closure to it, defined by our choices. This is what I have expected, and it's been given! All of it! Hats off Bioware, thank you so much, and I am eager to see your next products featuring this universe, which is my favorite! 10/10, *****, and going to start another playthrough right away. Best universe ever! :)

Dear Bioware,

first of all I'd like to thank you - all of you the feelings, the adventure, and the whole Mass Effect experience what I able to really achieved since I first met with the series.

Without spoilers, of course - you've done it, and done it extremely well - i'm really excited about the new DLC, the story, the ending, what you provide to us, the fans. It's incredibly good to be a fan of Mass Effect - not only for today, but for a lifetime I'm sure. Thank you, for everything - to share with us your dreams and let it came true.

I'm trying to find the words to explain, what kind of feelings are swirling in my head, and in my thougts - I still watching the end of the credits section and trying to get the feelings which are incredibly positive. Thank you again, great job and work - and I hope I'll meet with my dreams in Mass Effect universe in the future ;-)
