I was a bit confused to find nothing on forums.bioware.com about Dragon Age: Origins. Only through googling did I get to this site. I wonder are there any plans to merge the two sites at some stage?

The results are not going to be what a real "merger" looks like at all. It will be exactly what happened to DA: O. The Social site will open a replacement forum, empty of content, and the old forum will be locked, and hidden away (try to find either the old Off Topic, or the second and third of the old DA: O forums' archived versions).
