I don't see why they'd leave a massive cliffhanger in game (High EMS destroy), unless they were going to do post-ending DLC and/or another game. Despite what they said, if this was truly the end of Shepard's story, that scene wouldn't be in-game. People can change their minds.

I think it would destroy what they have planned for shep. Think Reven in SWTOR (shudder). He/she needs to missing for shep legend to remain enigmatic for the next game. lol

They're not going to do this.

If they did though, I'd happily pay for it and switch my canon choice from Refuse to Destroy.

Rights to a franchise swich hands all the time. We will see if the mass effect universe ends up in the hands of someone who diserves it.

Not going to happen. Bioware DO NOT CARE about the fans. This was all done to save PR. Hence why it seemed so lacking. 90 percent of the extra minutes of cutscenes are THE EXACT SAME.

This was all done because they felt they had to because of PR. Never again bioware NEVER.

I'd be against it; I think Bioware is smart enough to realise that no scene they did would ever live up to people's expectations, so they decided just to leave it up to these people's imaginations, which will always be better because of people's emotional attachment to the characters.

This was the end of Mass Effect series.Nothing is worse then speculations imo. We wanted answers, we got some but there are still holes.

Why no reunion with our LI in destroy ending?
Would it make it "the best/canon ending?" Maybe thats the reason.

They'll never make it, even if everyone cries out for it.

So outta curiousity, what about the people who choose Control or Sythesis? They can't exactly break open a bottle of champagne with their LI and crew anymore.

Unrealistic. Stupid. Cliche. Sterile.

There are other adjectives I could ascribe to a "reunion DLC" when in fact we could be getting more single-player DLC that expands on the story (e.g. Klencory, Omega, Ilium, etc.).

I say no. Especially paid for DLC. As much as I love MEs universe, that kind of thing would be reinforcing bad practice at BioWare ie. its okay to put out a pants ending because the fanbase is will to pay more for a 'proper' one. And the EC is pretty good IMO.

I wish. It's not gonna happen though. The EC is all we get. Which blows.

I'm satisfied with the EC ending, the galaxy is actually saved now, one way or another.

I would pay for a reunion DLC without hesitation though.

I agree, but I have to say that your user name really doesn't fit you.

The fact that people are willing to pay for it is why the video game industry sucks balls.

I'm happy the EC at least insinuated a reunion between Shepard and crew/LI. Worst case scenario that is enough for me at least. But God would I love, and totally totally pay for a reunion DLC. Just dialogue, cutscenes, cinematics stuff. You wanna put anything else in, fine, but would love to have that moment.
