Ill gladly paid for it. 

Could be a side quest where you LI returns to look for Shepard only to find out he was abducted by a fanatic group thinking that Shep is some kind of savior god and there trying to create a clone army of him to dominate all crippled races of the galaxy.

Seriously though I found it odd that literally the one thing the EC didn't wrap up was Shepard and the crew. It sets the feel of the galaxy decades or even centuries down the line but left the characters with hardly anything just implications. I don't know if it was by design or deliberate omission though.

I would pay many monies for such DLC. It's not going to happen though, for whatever reason. I personally think BioWare have no happy emotions left due to all the sunshine and rainbows they put into the EC Synthesis option.

The idea I had was as follows:

If Ashley, Kaidan, Miranda, or Liara is your LI, they have a few Alliance soldiers digging through the rubble of the Citadel. One of them waves Ashley/Kaidan/Liara over and they discover Shepard alive but injured. They share an embrace, grateful that both made it to the other side.

If Garrus is your LI, he enlisted his 'task force' to help search for you.

If Jack is your LI, she has her biotic students helping to look for you.

If Tali is your LI, she and some quarians are searching for you.

In the case of Kelly Chambers, Steve Cortez, Samantha Traynor, Diana Allers, they're walking through a hospital until they arrive at Shepard's room where he/she is recovering. They awake to see their LI and share an embrace.

If Thane was your LI, Shepard is sitting by the sea as she holds a picture of him. She sheds a tear but smiles, knowing he is happy for her and that she is grateful for all that he had done. One day, she will join him across the sea.

If Jacob was your LI, you successfully drink him under the table and walk out of the bar.

Technically, you could still have a reunion and have it be a dream a la IT............ But Destroy hints at a reunion, you just don't see it. Which to me is totally cool.
