Just wondering which ending do you guys prefer (and what order) after youtubing/playing through the EC?

Me?

Control
Destroy
Reject

Synthesis still can go jump on a nuke. That was a flowers and bunnies cavity inducing ending if anything was.

Control (honestly the only one I truly found to be satisfying).
Synthesis (ideal, but relies on magic, although the emotion from EDI was amazing imo).
Rejection (lots of people talk about how they turned around and shot the Catalyst when the game came out, so I figured I'd do it just for the hell of it - did not expect this though!).
Destroy (I just don't find it that satisfying any more - the death of all synthetics feels tacked on, and the breathe scene just doesn't fit the flow imo).

Destroy, then a tie between Control and Synthesis.  I liked Synthesis and Control equally, yeah I said it, get over it.  As for the Reject ending, I liked it, but I can't help but feel a little like I've been tricked.

I'm conflicted

The Destroy Ending allows a possible reunion for Shepard and Ashley, but I have to destroy an entire race

The Synthesis Ending allows for everyone to live peaceful together, but Shepard dies and it appears to be a complete throw up on the lore and themes of the universe.

Destroy - too bad no reunion with LI
Reject - fits perfectly in the ME series
Control - it's fine but I don't like the "become a god idea"
Synthesis - still space magic

Destroy, its the only ending that can lead the Mass Effect universe anywhere, the rest create a safe galaxy except for refuse which kills everyone leading to ME1 starting all over again a few thousands of years later.

Mass Effect 2...

Oh that wasn't what you meant?

I love refusal, mostly for the entertainment value and the fact that someone used it as a way to take a massive shot back at fans for the last three months. It's not even about the game at all, which makes it even better.

In terms of serious endings that aren't hate letters to their customers, control wound up looking pretty good. But destroy will always be my primary choice. Synthesis can continue to blow horn.

Destroy still gives the best potential for a future (not buying into inevitable conflict crap)
Control has shot right up to the second place as it feels like something either of my Shepard's could accept.
Synthesis is still not an option as its still poorly fleshed out.
Reject: nice to see it being an option. But I don't think I'll bother with it :)

Though I have to say thank you Bioware. You restored a bit of lost trust with me today.

Synthesis is still horrifying to me.
I'm pissed that control looks to be the "best" option
Destroy is still the only one that makes sense to me but I feel like I'm punished for choosing it.
May just go with reject, pretend that was the only option and move away from the Mass Effect series for good.

Control
Destroy
Reject

Same as you. Only because my Shep was always willing to take leaps of faith on big risks (free rachni, cure krogan, enter geth consensus) in order to leave no one behind. My Shep was also a bit gullible, so I can see him buying into what the starkid was saying, and having that overcome his skepticism with TIM's Control solution. And he wouldn't be ok with sacrificing EDI and the Geth, or risking failure through Reject.

I was Destroy leaning towards a 'refuse, fight, and die' option.

Now I'm firmly in the Destroy camp.

Destroy and Control equally, they both have their pros and cons. Not much a fan of the synthesis, but the EC made it somewhat good.

If I accept space magic, synthesis.

If I reject space magic, refusal. Because all the other ones are space magic.

I'm with destroy all the way, obviously control is a bad choice and synthesis and refusal just make the entire trilogy pointless.

Destroy. It's still the one which makes the most sense.

I thought Destroy was great. It's now clear that my crew and Shep will be reunited, there's great scope for the future, the Reapers were clearly defeated which was what I came to do, and basically all of the pressing questions for me were answered.

Hell, I might even play the game again. Today's been a good day.
