Is there any such comprehensive list of gameplay related differences between xbox360 and PC versions?
I have looked very hard and can't find anything like this.
For example, is damage for bows calculated differently on xbox and pc?
What is a list of all the differences?
Thanks for the help.

You don't really need a comprehensive list of differences when one is so decisively superior to the other. I understand fully what you are asking, but there are no pros/cons comparison between console and PC versions of DAO because PC is all "pros" and console is all "cons."

I was suppose to post this tread cause i have bought the Xbox360 version!\\, and im regretting it now... Because it's hard to play as a magician because there so very few hotkeys... Should have bought the PC version... RPG games are superior in PC.

Thanks for replying. I don't mean which version is better. I can only buy the console version as I don't have a PC capable of running this game.
I mean what are the actual differences in terms of gameplay/game mechanics?
A lot of people have the PC versions and are giving advice about the PC versions. To apply that advice to consoles, I need to understand all the differences in game mechanics between the two versions. That's why I wanted to see if there was a full list of differences somewhere. I have done a full search of these forums and not found anything of the sort....

Im a xbox game owner. I love the game.
But better buy the PC version. You'll have an easier life in here.
But if you are really interested:
Gameplay on Xbox is action-based. Nothing for slow-brainers like the PC people
There are 6 slots you can assign with your skills. Works fine. Ingame you can press LT and are allowed to give your teammembers direct commands, such like "Drink potion", "Use Ice", "Use lightning" or activing / deactivating any other skill. After releasing LT, all given commands are processed simultanous. On xbox gameplay is mainly to concentrate on your own character and to have fun slaying all the evil on this world back to the places from where they have come. Your groupmembers are working fine, if tactics are set up logical. So Bioware did a game with action, strategy and roleplay. I dont know the pc version, but everybody is talking about some things more in their versions. Maybe they can answer the other part for your question. I would buy the xbox-version again.

I can't afford a gaming PC - much too expensive for me. Buying a console has the benefit that you can keep buying/playing new games without ever having to buy new stuff to update your hardware since all the games are made to run on standard hardware (the console)...
I guess the most important part concerned game mechanics. I want to know what's different between Xbox version and latest PC version in terms of this...
For example - I see this patch 1.02 was released for PC: http://social.biowar...page/da-patches
...and it says for example "Many of the fixes affecting balance, gameplay, or plot scripting are already included in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation®3 versions of Dragon Age: Origins."
One of the things fixed in the patch is "Daggers now apply 0.5 points of damage per additional point in dexterity and 0.5 points of damage per additional point in strength, as originally intended. This increases dagger damage for high-dexterity characters."
I don't know if this (and other differences) is in XBOX version or not so I don't know how to develop my rogue as a result.
