 From what I understand, the EC is only about ten minutes or so of cutscenes; which is fine, I just don't want to replay around three hours from the Cerberus Base to see the new endings if that's all they are. I have a few saves scattered about Earth, and one right before the final choice. Where is the best place to load up from?

The new stuff seems to take place from the charge to the beam, but the Cerberus Base is where your EMS is locked in (and I think the EMS requirement for all the options is now lower in the EC). Personally, I started it at Cerberus, raced through on "easy" to get it out of the way, and went from there. Didn't take too long tbh.

Hmm, I had an auto-save from the start of the beam (right after the blast where you wake up and kill Mr. Shields) and I got the new content without needing to load up the "Legend save" that puts you back before the Cerberus Base. I don't know if that means I missed new content in London or on the Cerberus base though (if there is any?), but I got all the new stuff on the Citadel.

I should note though that in that original auto-save I already had a high enough EMS score to get all 3 choices (although I originally did not have a high enough score to get the 'Shepard breathes' end. I'm about to try the other endings to see if I get Shep breathing).

Okay I think you're right that they tweaked the EMS requirements because I got Shep breathing this time without having changed my EMS score. Unless Shep breathing or Vaporization are now the only two destroy endings.
