Not the actual catalyst itself but if we had almost the same conversation and same options that starchild gives us, but we were actually discussing it with a keeper. Just makes more sense to me, The crucible could change the citadel to release whatever is controlling them, sorts out a few plot holes fits with the narrative and the crucible is still the acutual catalyst

Any Thoughts would be appreciated.
