FOR MAKING ME CRY LIKE A LITTLE BABY :crying:

The Extended Cut DLC is briliant !
I chose Synthesis again and it was so touching so perfect so GLORIOUS I can't even begin to describe it. I am lost for words, EDI's sad face when she hugged Liara, Reapers helping rebuild all the worlds, the Krogan, seeing unmasked Quarians ETC. ETC. ETC. EVERYTHING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THE EXTENDED CUT

p.s. Moderators, would you be so kind and tell the BioWare team that I really appreciate all the work they have done and that I love them from the bottom of my heart ?

Again, BioWare, you are my champions <3:kissing:

PPS OR TLDR : THIS IS A SUPPORT THREAD, IF YOU DON¨T LIKE SYNTHESIS THERE ARE PLENTLY OF THREADS TO VENT YOUR RAGE !

Synthesis was always their love child. You know despite raping the entire Universe into becoming cyborgs without their consent and becoming the Reapers little toy. Instead they made it out to be the ultimate ending when really it isn't.

I just think it's weird for a game with so much diversion and so many tough choices to pretty much urge you into one universal choice that everyone else makes, and then have the payoff be so enormous.

Synthesis was super popular in the 30's.

So the pro-ending crowd scoffs that retake just wants a happy ending... then doesn't bat an eye when Synthesis produces an unambiguously utopian society where everyone lives alongside their friends and family, whom were turned into husks doing the Reaper war.

Got to say, even though I love the new Destroy and Reject endings, I do not enjoy the Synthesis ending... it's just such a rubbish and incomprehensible concept.

I blew them Reapers to hell. Oh, and the Geth. But... yeah I swept that under the carpet.

All of the endings are now satisfying IMO, at least in the sense that they feel like a victory.

Instead of R/G/B we now have Space God / Race of Immortals / Blue Babies. Definitely an improvement.

The real sub-arc was EDI, she was always wondering what it would be like to be "alive" and clearly...it happened, i liked that all those conversations about "life" didnt go to utter waste within the dialogue.

I would never choose it though, destroy is my personal choice, even if it now certainly means that the Geth and EDI die, a cost that is neutralised by the fact that the reapers are completely annihilated.

It is more complicated, but i wont go into the details.

Plus even as very open minded scientist, i just cant get my head around synthesis...at all.

we still got RGB. oh wait we got another one, do nothing everybody dies. imo the best ending is to just stand there and get critical mission failure, at least it doesn't leave a sour taste in your mouth.

Yep, OP, the EC's Synthesis is really good. But depend on the haters to take the somewhat creepy aspects (which I don't deny) and blow them up all out of proportion.

YAY for the EC creating actual discussion about your choice of ending. If you feel Synthesis is just a joke and super ultra hippy, choose Destroy or Control.

The further development of all three endings is what was needed and it allows players to go: Saving the Geth was worth being the new Guardian or destroying EDI and Geth was worth seeing those evil monsters finally put down.

Joke's on you, too. My Shepard became Space Cthulhu.

Now, after their redirection, I'd agree with that. But originally, in the leaked endings, there were 5 or 6 destroy endings with varying levels of success (with the Earth being saved, destroyed, etc., and only one with Shepard surviving). There was the Synthesize ending, and the Control ending, and then different failing endings. It was good.

I'm torn with the choices we have now. I abhor having the Reapers live in any shape or form, but space magic prevents me from Destroying them since it would somehow kill EDI and the Geth too. I die regardless of Control or Synthesis. I could live with control if Shepard lived, but since he is magically fried I am fairly certain Synthesis is better. If he lived there would be that positive side, and he could just sent the Reapers into the sun to be fried. Synthesis seems the only decent option still, and it feels wrong to me.

-_- Once again Synthesis-haters are too stubborn to even look at the potential benefits, they can only look at the negative aspects. 'It MUST be bad because I say so!'

I hate hate hate synthesis. The entire concept is nonsense, you may as well have Shepard defeat the reapers with an army of flying monkeys, makes just as much sense and it would be much funner to watch.

And pro-synthites make up stuff because it MUST be the best thing ever. Who cares, it's nonsense.
