I think the way Melee in this game was handled is incredibly clunky.
In the words of someone else from GameFAQS:
my issue isnt that you cant move while attacking, its how awkward
such things are handled- once an enemy starts moving, your character
has huge issues hitting them at all until they stop again.
even
with haste buffs and move speed debuffs on the enemy, your character
will slowly walk toward and/or take these gimpy staggered halting steps
toward them constantly until they stop moving- if im close enough that
i have to stop moving because theyre occupying the space, then i should
be close enough to get another attack off.

I shouldn't have to "back away" from an enemy because I ran too close, only to have him run away again...
Is an "Attack while Moving" mod for Melee Warriors possible to make?
