You destroy the Reapers.
Shepard lives.
Citadel is rebuilt.
Mass Relays are rebuilt.
Technology is fixed.
Geth CAN be rebuilt (not that anyone would want to).
And so life continues just like it did before ME1, fine and dandy. Perfect for other Mass Effect games. I can't see ANY other Mass Effect games set post ME3 if you didn't pick Destroy.

There are NO flaws with this ending AT all apart from the fact EDI dies.
So, Destroy is the best ending. What do you think?

I could see one for Control, just like Dune 4 after Leto becomes God Emperor. You play as rebels trying to overthrow him as his ideals have now become warped, etc.

Plus Hackett's monologue is pretty awesome.

I don't think we could have another ME games with Reapers just flying around and Shepard's God voice booming:
"WORK, SLAVES. WORK!"

Yep destroy is pretty much the best ending in my opinion. Just sad there was no reunion with crew and LI

I just pretend the synthetic life doesn't die in Destroy. (I get it, you guys, you want Synthesis to be the best one so you added that 'YOU'LL KILL JOKER'S LOVE INTEREST AND THE GETH' thing, but really, I think that's silly)

Then it's the perfect ending.

But what about Synthesis? Peace, EDI feels alive and everyone has freaky green eyes and remind me of husks.

With ME's gameplay and Bioware characters? I'd buy it.

only caveats:

AI of the sophication of EDI and fully cognizant, non-linked Geth require reaper code upgrades. Which I don't think council races can replicate? And think of how important EDI was to Shep's survival in ME2 and ME3.

Yeah, because life is going to be so much better be a freak of nature (or a freak of technology). Everyone thinks like a machine and is best buddies with the Reapers. The next ME game, you play as a Reaper and have to deliver shipments to the Alliance and befriend everyone.

What? Honestly, I'd say Destroy is the worst now. So Shepard lives.

In both Control (Best) and Synthesis the entire galaxy unifies and becomes 10x stronger. Who's to say what happens in Destroy?

The Geth only needed Reaper code to become fully organic-like. You could see how they were like before they had Reaper code, civilised - almost organic like. And AIs don't need Reaper code to be like EDI, proof is in the ME1 sidemission where you find the terrorist AI computer above a shop.

This is probably what I'm going to be forced to do.  Head cannon the Geth and EDI back in, then imagine the reunion between Shep and Crew.  *Sigh* Don't see what was so hard about giving us this ending as a real choice, but oh well.

No, Control is second best. Shepard rules over the Galaxy.
Synthesis, everyone becomes half-machine and everyone essentially become husks.
In Destroy, everything goes back to the way it was. The way it was MEANT to be. The way everyone WANTED it to be.

Destroy is easily the best ending. It seems the most grounded one.

Control option leaves this god-like shepard in a higher state of mind which is probably "beyond our understanding". That reeks of "you cannot comprehend me, but I have to eliminate all life" - Reaper Shepard.

Synthesis ending was rubbish.

Destroy works for the renegade player, the one the likes the idea of Shepard being so badass he/she cant die. It works for the same reason Control works for the paragon player, with the uncorruptable avatar of Shepard controlling the reapers and guarding the galaxy .Personally i went from hating synthetic to thinking its the best ending, the probably "cannon" ending if they ever use one. its definitely the "Happy" ending

Destroy returns the galaxy to a Pre-Reaper state, Which is perfectly fine by my book.

You also get a heavily implied reunion with Shepard and LI

your love interest doesn't but the plague up, as he/she doesn't think Shepard is dead. Then the Normandy flys off to go back to Earth, and breath scene is shown.
