 I downloaded the Extended cut today and the file is right there wheere I expected yet when I play the end of the game from the cerberus base onwards there is no change.

There is no change until you enter the Conduit, at which point you should immediately see a new cutscene that shows the Normandy flying through the battlefiled in Earth's orbit, Instead of starting from the Cerberus base try loading the Restart Mission save for "Return to the Citadel," or whatever the final sequence is called, that starts you when Shepard gets up to do his slow walk toward the Conduit. If you still see no change all I can say is try redownloading it.

I have the exact same problem, and I'm mad. Is there anyway to tell if the game recognizes that I've downloaded it and implemented it? I'm going to be really mad if I start from the Cerberus Base again and the ending still doesn't change.

Just to make sure, will my talking to my squad at that London base have any effect on the ending at all?

Reinstalling and Restarting the Mission worked!
