Okay, so i ran "Repair Install" on the EC dlc it seems to have worked, and I have managed to get into MP wihout the "Mass Effect 3 has stopped working" crash, will see what happends when I try to play the EC DLC later today, will keep you guys posted.

I did the repair install and repair EC - neither fixed the sound issue I have. Checked and updated every driver I could think of. Wow - clarification on how to fix all these issues would be REALLY good! As it is, considering even old save games have same problem now - hasta la vista ME3.
