I'll admit that biotics can do damage but biotics in the "lore" are a lot weaker that what's ingame.

Only thing that still confuses me is the breath scene. Is it my Shep? Or some other N7 soldier? Does it take place before or after red explosion? wat? ಠ_ಠ
But still, great work Bioware! You saved the game!

so yeah we all got a HUGE PLATE OF" F**K YOU" a freakload of people have noticed a lot of stuff have been retconned in the game and a shedload of stuff removed or replaced so yeah .... the EC has made a bad situation WORSE

Ok seriously how is the Reject ending a F-You?
People actually wanted this as an option early on when the game came out, it adds a 4th option of just saying no to the catalyst and establishes the time capsole liara made.
Once again how is this an F-You, seriously i want to know how people keep saying that and honestly what it really is is that bioware actually liscened to some of the comments made about the ending.
That aside I loved the Extended Cut

The endings are cheap and uncreative regardless how much they state how they are happy with thair artistic creativity. I can't say i could come up with a better ending that would please the masses but i'd feel better with the whole damn end be based on the pure all out fighting between repear and allied speices based on readiness and assets while shep takes a shot in the head and dies. I still find adding the magic and explaining it in a dlc is a cheapshot and an attempt to ridicule the intellect of the masses.

I hate the endings and wont play it. Don't care if shepard or anyone lives or dies, the way it unfolds to me is just plain rubbish. I wanted to feel all of my milestone choices matter at the ending and fight reapers, small or tall, not hit the iwin button or defiance.

It is better, I don't think anyone can argue with that. I'll start with the good points of it. Contrary to the previous ending then this one gives some closure with the epilogue. It is also less random (your companions getting to the Normandy is explained, also why they leave the system) and it fixes some of the plotholes along the way by that. Depending on what you pick then it is no longer an abyss of a future that meets the survivors (which is good). I'm glad that EA decided to invest in this so Bioware could finish the trilogy on a good(or better) note.
That said, having in mind this is free (although I am sure some feel entitled), there are some sore points with this ending DLC. My first gripe would be the lack of gameplay elements being added, for example Priority:Earth is still pretty much a mess of lost opportunity. They could have aced this ending DLC if they hadded Suicide Mission components to it. Seeing past that then we still have the 'Godchild' and although explained a bit better it still falls short. What was the point of spending an entire game building up to Harbinger if you are not going to use the character properly at least once in the final game? It seems strange to me, and Harbinger (despite what the creator of him desired) could perfectly have filled the role of the Godchild thus avoiding people wanting to throw stuff or swoop away the EA HQ (swooping is bad btw).
I would probably classify this ending as acceptable, personally. Because while in and of itself the ending still falls short of what i had hoped for prior to the release of ME3 then it justifies its existence to a degree. Most importantly it explains what on (or just above) Earth is going on and it has an epilogue that details the consequences of your decisions. Still not the ending I would have expected from Bioware prior ME3, but endings are hard okay? I think I will cut them some slack now.

The scene where your squad-mates get evac'd and the explanation of why the Normandy was traveling through a mass relay was desperately needed. I also really liked all the extra Star Child dialogue options. The character still feels a little out of place in the cannon to me, but now at least I know enough to form a better opinion of its motivations and purpose.
I also liked the fact that right after I made my choice I got to see my actual LI before the curtains fell.
It wasn't perfect, but overall I think the team did a great job with this package. It has restored my faith in BW as a studio. For the longest time I felt that they told the best stories in the industry. After playing the vanilla ME3 endings I wasn't sure they deserved that title. Now, I feel like they have gone a long way towards regaining that status...IMHO.

Replace stargazer and child with LI scene.(i.e. blue babies)
Only part that remotely 'moved' me was when Liara(my LI) places my name up on the memorial board.
Control was freaky, sad, kinda cool.
Synthesis was freaky, kinda cool, kinda lame.
Refusal was lame.
Destroy was sad, felt most human, incomplete.(gasp)
It was better but still lacking. I didn't feel like a hero. I didn't have the chance to see her again.(LI)
I'm amazed they didn't use IT, would've pulled their bums out the fire.
Can't win em all I suppose, guess I'll add ME to the list.

catalyst was great and made more sense. He explained your choices and his reason clearly. The 4th ending, the "I reject your choices" was a decent surprise and addition. I chose the destroy ending, and I loved watching the victory scene with the Krogan and Asari. Too bad the Turiandid not get one too. Thankfully, the relays were only "damaged" and notcompletely destroyed. And I was relieved to see the crew was not stranded for long. Hackett's final speech was great (Henriksen is a veryskilled voice actor). The ending feels much better and happier now. The quick shots of the ME2 squad members (both dead and alive) were also plesant to see.
Overall, I am almost satisfied. There was just ONE thing missing. I wish the ending could have lasted just another minute to show a reunion between Shepard and LI, over even the whole crew.

EC didn't change anything, all it is is the exact same rubbish we were served 4 months ago just more of it. plot holes galore, abandoned plot, unexplained events, anything and everything that happened in regular ME3 stayed in EC ME3, they just gave us a different cutscene and still images with voice over for each one. total garbage.
shepard still takes a breath in london at the end of destroy, so it a dream or not? make up your mind bioware!

In a world full of mindless shooters and mediocrity the fact that Bioware Was able to create something that so many are so passionate about to make them as outraged as they are, I tip my hat to them. They make a story you can care about and that's something to be proud of. So their ending wasn't perfect. It wasn't even great. But this remains one of the best interactive stories ever told and I'm satisfied. I will continue to support games by bioware for a long time because they have proven time and again that they write one hell of a story, give us characters we can fall in love with, and they are always listening.

Synthesis - No... just no. Bad Bioware. BAD! Who's pet theory is that crap?!
Destroy - Still a strong choice.
Reject - Why??!! Why did they not run with IT?! This would have been ideal. You hear "So be it!" then Shep wakes up back in London. Then we're back to the status quo of still needing an ending. Could have been brilliant. Mildly satisfying as it is though.
EC was a step in the right direction (in some ways) just not enough. Now it's down from red/green/blue to normal eyes/glowy eyes.

As it is...I like the new details for the endings. But I wish that, for control and destroy, the crew gets to see Shepard again. Although i'm still a little confused as to how the control ending worked, so maybe just the destroy one. A big reunion with a focus on LIs

Stop complaining, they're probably losing money off of this just for us, because it's free.
