There were some nice touches in the ending but you now created a blurry line between dream, reality and time. As a degree level mind in film theory who has extensively studied Kubrick (the original ending reminded
me of his films) I deeply respect the original ending because it made us think. It made us draw our own conclusions and may not have appealed to everyone but it was actually genius if you analysed it. 2001: A Space
Odyssey was hated upon release because no one understood it at face value. Now its regarded as one of the greatest sci-fi/films of all time.It took time for it to achieve this status but it ultimately paid off.
Man it's quite upsetting that you would sacrifice your creative integrity to please the CoD generation of gamers instead of revolutionising story-telling in a growing medium.
Don't worry, I won't over-react in calling for the death of your studio or refusing to buy your games. That's just childish. I'm still confident you're capable of pushing the boundaries of gaming.
