I'll keep it short
Before the EC the Mass Effect trilogy consisted of the best games I have ever player. I loved all three of them. Played ME1 and ME2 ten times over. ME3 only once, yes, because of the ending. I just didn't feel like playing the trilogy again.
Now, with the EC released I can tell you this: THIS IS ****ING AWESOME! I chose Destroy, despite the death of EDI and the Geth, I thought it was the best choise. Destroying the Reapers was my Shepard's goal since the very beginning.
The EC cleared up so many things for me, via great cutscenes and an epic slideshow (The Krogan rebuilding the Salarian homeworld, Zaeed chilling etc) and gave me the closure I needed. The EC almost had me crying, and believe me.. I do NEVER cry.
SO here you have it BioWare; THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!, not only for giving me the greatest story I experienced in my life, but also for taking the time and effordt to fix the endings. Thank you guys at development, thank you EA for picking up BioWare, thank you Hudson, Walters, Weekes and everyone else.
And now, if you excuse me, I'll give control and synthesis a try. Followed by a complete playthrough from ME1 to ME3. Yeah, I've got the hang of it again!
PS. I know everyone has their right to complain about things they don't like, but some here on BSN take it to far. People who say things like "I'll never buy an EA game again!", something about polishing a turd, and "It's all Hudson's/Weekes/etc fault!" are all, in my humble opinion, shortsighted fools.
Thank you
Thank you, BioWare!
