THANK YOU. You made PSPs worth anything again, just a week or two after I maxed out the Rare guns, and I'm just a few character cards away from maxing them out. AND you fixed the manifest, so it shows 4 cards for Geth, Phoenixes, QMs.
THANK YOU.

oh my god... - silver card single use supply items - this is a horrible joke, how am i ment to max out my "4th gear slot silver card equipment" now, as everytimes a silver card is recived - it will be a rank 3 single use supply item??? - just recived my victory and commendation pax and spent 100 000 credits in vet-pax for exact that purpose - trying to recive that "4th gear slot silver card equipment" - but no way - the vic and com pax where full of silver cards - all ammo screw ups - and the vet paxes silver cards where all just single use supply item insults as well - the change of character cards to be able to reach their max-out state as well, i very much appreciate - finally! very good move, i wasnt really daring to hope for this anymore, thanx4that, really - but the silver card change leaves me really clueless, this cant be serious, right? so there might be one thing i have really not gotten so far: this new rank3 silver card single use supply item stuff is able to get maxed out as well? whats the limit then, community - please tell me anyone - but please dont say its 255 as well - because if its like that, it would be really as bad as it looks to me by now... .

Had you read Jessica's post you'd know, that only if you maxed your kits you'd receive said consumables. Meaning: Had you bought those Vet Packs yesterday you wouldn't have gotten any more gear, but character cards instead. The gear drop-rate has not been changed. At all.

oh ja - i misunderstood the meaning of the word "drop" together with the new silver card single use supply item stuff in the official post - english is not my native language, so i 1st thought full of hope it means that the rate at wich they are recived would "drop down" at some point - what would make no sense, right - so it was just "drop out" too and this means that its even worst, as my experience of reciveing no 4th gear slot silver card equipment anymore, but only this new silver card single use supply items instead - even an unlimited state is, untill this experience wasnt just big coincidence and ike that, this an overreaction - well, the next days of me3-gaming will let me know exactly... .Siran wrote...

Now I don't have to resist throwing something every time I get the Geth Engineer.....several weeks after I maxed it out.

You're right! It's not...Babbylonian wrote...
That you would like to be able to get everything out of one or two packs (your XP and chances at URs) where others - perhaps the majority, to boot - were getting virtually nothing out of any pack isn't really a good argument for the old system.
Which is why I have been arguing for a system that can keep both camps happy since before this change was announced.
It seems like nobody at Bioware was listening though... *sigh*

Is it at least easier to get uncommon/rare gear?

So, do we already know if it will be stronger versions of Ammo we already have, or entirely different ammo, like.... Polonium/tungsten rounds?
They put a "IV" instead of a "III" in front of a few things.

Mass Effect 3’s Multiplayer has been an interesting journey
for BioWare. Over the last few months, we’ve been watching player behavior,
talking to our players on the forums and in the game lobbies, and playing the
hell out of the game at home. Based on all of that, we’ve been trying to make
adjustments to the game within our post-ship limitations, our capacity for
development and testing, and our ability to patch or update.
We want you to know that we’ve been listening. We’ve heard
your feedback about character unlocks and training in the Reinforcement Packs,
and we’re poised to make some great changes in these areas. Specifically, we
want you to get new content faster and have a satisfying replacement drop once
you have all of the new kits. To this end, we’ve removed
Character kit cards as rare drops[1] after all appearance options have been
unlocked[2] and we’ll be introducing a new powerful Rare Ammo type that will drop
when you’ve maxed out your kits[3].
We hope you enjoy these changes, and we look forward to
seeing you in game!
Promising change, but you Bioware guys are really good at creating new questions with every answer you give:
[1] So this only affects rare characters, not uncommons and commons? I still get those character cards when maxed out?
[2] Is this per character or overall? Imagine I have character A fully unlocked, but not character B. Can I still get a character A card?
[3] All kits maxed out or just the character cards? Will I get this new ammo if my weapons aren't maxed out yet?
Overall it's still unclear wether maxing out a character increases the chance to get something which isn't maxed out yet (either a character, weapon, weapon mod or gear).
Any insights on how this random lottery exactly works (calculations, if/then/else, etc) would be appreciated.

According to user "Stinja" on page 13, that's not the case. He received level IV ammo even though he had unmaxed gold characters:

So just spent a million credits on regular Spectre Packs, results I got:
- new level IV ammo
- common and uncommon character cards (already maxed)
- non-maxed gold character cards (no maxed duplicates received)
- a bunch of Gear
- no duplicate consumables once 255
Reading Jessica's post, I thought you only get level IV ammo if all of your Gold gear (characters, weapons) is maxed.

Am I right in thinking that, if you promotr, you'd still be getting the character cards anyway as the characters aren't maxed out?

I'm sorry, but I fail to understand how 99,000 credits is worth 2 rank IV single use consumables. At least character cards let me level those bad-at-low-level classes faster.
This. I'd rather get character cards with 250,000 XP to level up my promoted chars FAST! And I could increase the war assets in SP fast! But now the PSPs, are just JEPs with 3x price??? Dafuq?
Sorry, if I misunderstood the conception, but I think character cards were much more useful than some one-use ammo s**t, IF THE SAID CHARACTER IS BELOW LVL 20 right?
Or we will get char cards if we have maxed chars in customization but not in level?
Again, sorry if this was stated somewhere, but I can not find any official explanation from Bioware.
I don't want to seem like an ungrateful dog, and I appreciate the efforts of making the reinforcement packs better, but I think, that character cards were not completely useless, and the new changes have made the PSPs now completely useless...
