Nope. It's the same ammo types as we have already, just at level 4.

BIoware didn't make it hard for us by removing the character cards. They listened to those whining about character cards and fixed the store -- as you can see clearly by all of the replies to this threadstingernuke wrote...
What about us players who used them to level up?!? You made it hard for us. We play the game as its meant to be played.

Thanks for all the hard work on the game bioware. I may not agree or even like the recent change to PSP's but your pursuit of customer satisfaction is admirable and rare for ANY company. At some point I hope you guys finally say that YOU are the artists, and the final product was created the way that it was intended to be created. I am afraid that the gaming community is becoming synonymous with constant complaining and whining. I am afraid that gamers will EXPECT to be treated like spoiled brats. Regardless, you made an incredible game that was perfect on day one in my opinion. Gamers may say that they deserve to be heard, that they should be given free things when they feel like they have been wronged because they have played 3 games and put 100 hours into it. But this is YOUR baby that you have shared with us. Thanks. I will be a fan of this game and this series (1-3) forever.
Whatever, Talk To The Hand, The ears Are Not Listening.
I think they screwed up bad style with the store, I have had nothing but ammo for days no UR's.

Well Pav, talk to the palm cause Im the bomb. Maybe they are called ultra rares because they are ultra rare? Im not saying that bioware has'nt done things I do not agree with. Im saying its your fault for thinking you should get UR's like they are common. Maybe you are entitled to get everything handed to you. I dont know. If EA keeps people playing by not handing out the rarest weapons then I dont blame that logic. This is not a personal attack... You are entitled to your opinion! EA has provided you with the ability to express your distain for certain elements of their labor-of-love to make it "better." What I want to know is when will it ever be good enough. I am just calling this game a great game. If people can complain on here in large numbers, I would like to think that EA wouldnt mind seeing more positive feedback as well.

the fewest of the last pages/ posts
- and therefore not gotten that this certain change has broken the RNG in the way as uncommon and rare 4th slot gear-bonus content now close to absolute never drops...
...and that continuously some of the poor players that still have to obtain/ max-out uncommon and rare guns
and/ or gun-mods during this days, are stating to be plaqued with the same problem for this content now too !!additionally!!
- and if you would now answer anyhow opposingly to him again,
i am afraid he might just continue with his "anti-forum-posts" by finding just other reasons for/ to put in his states either way...
and yeah, sure has bioware done a great job with bringing many other things to us too!
(like my space-indiana-jones 4example - nooo, am not talking about lucases han solo... - but my phoenix vanguard! boar, i have started to miss him incredible this past, about 10 days, i will sure start to play the mp again even before the much awaited store-fix, even just to amass creds for the better days to the me3-mp to surely come again...)
- but they are just not done to proper put to practice this unlim-cc-dublicate/ store change yet, as it defently seem to have broken other things with the store pretty bad, that previously had worked extremely much, much better - and i just hope so damn much that they will finally have fixed this soon...
- what is why, "as completely ignorant to the impact of the specifics of this, our newer situation appearing posts" like his ones, currently just make me mad... .

NO to pricey packs that include guaranteed Ultra-Rare(s). People should have to earn them like the rest of us have had to from day one: Through hundreds of hours of playing.
.......except you can't earn them, because you no-longer get them. Must be 60 PSP's since I last got an Ultra Rare and my highest is rank 2. Apparently, PSP's give you a higher chance of getting a UR. Higher than what? Spontaneously turning into a fish when the pack opens?? Though as both of these have happened exactly zero times since the new packs kicked in I'd say chances of both are about the same.
NOTE TO SELF: Make sure there's a bowl of water handy next time you open a PSP..................

The update changed Gear so they now have a chance to drop in the "guaranteed" slots of Veteran and higher packs. (Previously, the only time they would drop is if the RNG decided to give you an Uncommon/Rare drop in the second-to-last slot before the guaranteed slot.) However, the odds of getting a Gear drop are still pretty darn small (33% or less in a guaranteed slot, according to a statistical record I've been keeping so far. Possibly as low as 10% or less in the random slot.)
i am getting more gears in veteran packs than PSP's or SP's credit spentvise. about 2:1 or 2½:1 ratio compared to SP's and closer to 3½:1 vs PSP's
In terms of credit efficiency, yes, buying VP's will be far more productive for unlocking Gear than buying SP's or PSP's, at least where Uncommon Gear is concerned. There's a chance for two Uncommon Gears to drop in every VP, so when you consider that you can buy 3 - 5 VP's for every SP or PSP, all those additional chances will add up over time. In my opinion, buying SP's/PSP's is still more efficient for attempting to unlock Rare Gear, but if you've already maxed those out, then consider going back to VP's for the Uncommon Gear.

Since this change, I haven't picked up an uncommon gear at all from a VP. I sometimes get one from a PSP.

Sooo I haven't maxed out all my appearance options on my rare characters, nor have I maxed out any of the "gear slot" rares and I got a Warp Ammo IV... is that intended? Because if it is, it's just plain dumb. Why would anyone want a rare consumable instead of something you can keep? Any help on this please?
I noticed that too. Assuming it's intended, my guess is that once you max a Rare character, the 1-in-16 chance of getting that character is replaced by a 1-in-16 chance of getting a Level IV ammo. Or something like that.
But the OP did imply that the Level IV ammo would only drop once ALL of your characters are maxed. That doesn't appear to be the case.

You're not alone... I completely agree. This trilogy is truly a work of art; one that has had me hooked from beginning to end. When you read a book, do they always "tie up the loose ends" for you, or do you have to use your imagination to decide for yourself how things might have worked out? Do we really "need" to have every little question answered for us? Or is it more satisfying in the end to hypothesize for ourselves? The best novels and movies leave us hanging, speculating, and wanting just a little bit more. This trilogy does the same, and I believe is was perfect "as is". That being said, I'm doing a full run-through, from #1 (currently playing #2), and am excited to see what they have added in the Extended Cut when I get to #3.
As for the Reinforcement Pack changes, I think it's great. If you want character cards, you can still get them in the other packs. At least if you don't get that Ultra-Rare you've been dying for, you'll get something you can use instead of character cards.
I actually think character cards should be more rare... raising your N7 level should require actual play-time, and should be harder to accomplish than opening a Recruit Pack or two after every match. That's exactly why N7 means nothing. Promote, load up on character cards until level 20, promote, rinse, repeat. Using a favorite character, you could potentially have very little experience with the others and still have an outrageous N7 rank. Which is fine; that's the way the system works right now... to each his own... I pay very little attention to N7 as things stand right now.
As for the Ultra-Rare weapons, have received (finally) the Cerberus Harrier, Javelin, and the Wraith since the change. And a ton of level IV ammo. Which I will use when I venture into Gold. Until then, I'll be happy enough to stock-pile them

BUT, when you already have all the weapons at level 10, all characters at level 5, as well as all the modifiers of weapons, the only pack that is worth buying the jumbo. The only thing that motivated to buy the other packs - the possibility of receiving a fair amount of XP, no longer exists.

I had been stuck since they added the new ammo then today it's back in force.
edit
I decided to buy three more and i got all the gear now at V

You can still get the Common Human character cards in packs, most chance in Veteran packs probably. You just don't receive anymore uncommon/rare character cards, since eh well, they're worthless anyway (when maxed out), especially compared to the common character cards which you still can get.Presbydos wrote...
If we already maxed out all the character appearance for a specific class, like sentinel, does that mean we won't have any bonus exp for the said class anymore?
