DA2 itself wasn't a game I ''hated'', so to speak, but compared to DAO it was absolute crap. Anyways, despite there not being a proper ''purpose'' in the entire DA2 story, I think considering what they're planning to do in the future with the Dragon Age franchise, DA2 was a nice set-up game. I think a BioWare employe once said something along the lines that DAO was some sort of introduction to the world, DA2 was the big set-up, and then ''the future of the franchise'' being a game where everything comes crashing down.
What was the purpose of this game?
