With the new endings imo...

i thought them amazing and well made this time, no dramatic bull**** and way more explanatory now !

i know there are still some plot holes but i felt they realy did a good overall, dam i felt realy good about it...like a victory !

idk if the community will feel that is the winning of the war or just another battle but imo that was the best victory evryone could achive here...being IT supports or Retake ones evryone contributed to the cause in some way and i felt bioware did just that with those endings...hell...even the refusal ending seemed decent enough !

Now  what u guys feel its still missing ? i know some stuff can be added in other DLCs later but there are some that they should have added in the end (Racchni being one of the most important).

lets hear it folks.

Note: If the IT or Retake felt that as the final victory i would congratulate both for the hard work and effort they`ve put to make their opinions and ideas be heard and, hopefully, a well recived ending (if most of the forums felt that way) that we just got now.

Note: Frogot to congratulate the most important people in all this...the community itself.
Congratulations for those who felt that as a victory !

For me it'd be feeling like a hero, that's missing.

That and a glimpse of blue babies or a reunion with crew/LI.

Guess that's it in a nutshell, no heroic moment with the gal. imo.

I still feel no closure. All the "closure" stuff came in the form of powerpoint slides. Which is very cheap and emotionless.

Endings are great now.

Still hate Starchild, but im glad we can ask him questions and know for sure he's dead in the Destroy ending.

Lot of people were ready to hate it before it was even released, mostly because Bioware didn't cave in and write a brand new ending. Wound have been overkill to do that, and it would have been worse than what we already had.

Some of the plot holes were plugged - though there are still loose ends. High EMS on destroy for example.

Reject seems to come across as more of a crap slinging contest when the potential it had could have been incredible. It does come across as the perfect launch pad for a continuation of IT. "Artistic integrity" wasn't going to allow that though now was it...

Control and Synthesis? No intention of picking either of them so don't know the changes.

It does still come across as though someone at Bioware has a major thing for synthesis and dry lectures.

The EC was a step in the right direction but it still rings hollow. Offered some token clarity, very little closure and still not much choice.

It could never have been worse than what we already had, since what we have qualifies for the cup in the "Worst Writing In Anything Ever" competition.

Because it's the cool thing to do!

But really, there isn't a thing Bioware could have possibly done to appease these entitled gamers, when you factor in the mp expansions they've given more than our money's worth. Yet people are still crying, the tears are plentiful!

What's funny to me is, how most of them made up their minds that it was going to suck before they even played it, then when they finally DO play it they're surprised that they don't like it...First world problems ftw eh?

The EC endings didn't get rid of the starchild/catalyst. With out that, the story just doesn't make any sense.

If you like the endings, then great! I'm glad people are satisfied at least.

it felt like an improvement overall to me especially with the catalyst scenes

I think its a couple of reason some people are not satisfied is the lack of changes to the dog tag scene and no real additions or guarantees of LI rejoining because of this it still left a question mark in my opinion.

Thats saying they did it on purpose because they wanted us to fill in those blanks of shepards life and friends to a point for instance does Shepard stick with his/her LI or live of the royalties with Garrus in a tropical location.

(its also impossible to satisfy everyones desires considering we all take something different from the ME franchise)

Obviously no one likes that glowing turd, but condemning an entire game because of that is just silly.

Too little
Too late
Too stupid

Some race created AI Star Child to stop conflict with AI. AI Star Child determined the only solution is to kill every race and turn them into AI Reapers so AI Reapers can stop conflict with AIs.

Also, Synthesis is still ZEE ULTIMATE EVOLVED SUPREME RACE option.

Trees are now partly synthetic.

The "Insulting 4th ending" is what a lot of people ASKED for. People kept asking "Why can't I say no!?!?" Well, Bioware gave us that chance with the refusal ending. Totally came from left field IMO. Loved that we CAN fail.

As for the new endings, I adored them. Much much better. No it isn't the PERFECT ending, but helped establish in my mind what really happens to the universe. I still would like to see whether keeping Krogan alive, and having the Rachni alive will one day leave to conflict, but if that's open ended... fine. I guess I can live with it. I guess. I had low expectations, but with the music, and the different endings (showing different speeches and having different outcomes of what happens with mass relays...) I was left satisfied and hopeful for the future of the universe.

Good job bioware.

Your explanation is just so good! I feel like when people just say this or some other one word answer that gives no context it is the same people who claim that the bible is evidence for god.

Hmmm, I will start that there are still tons of plot holes and illogical inconsistencies....
