This was in another file right next to the one that the OP posted in the DLC folder. It's the conversation on the top of the Citadel. Could this be relevant? Or did I just not click on this conversation option during the ending scene?http://pastebin.com/R52YGPek
The original file is DLC_CON_END_TEST.tkl
I don't remember having this conversation option with the space child
Look at line 838

 • <data>The Leviathan's created you, didn't they?</data> that's Shepard talking to space child.
 • 963. <data>Tell me what you know about the Leviathans.</data> again shepard
 • 978. <data>But you turned on the Leviathans. You harvested them.</data>
then this one is interesting
 • 983 <data>Who is OLD TONGUE NAME OF HARBINGER?</data>

and then there's this one line 1693., not sure what to make of it
 • <data>Leviathan</data>
I don't remember hearing that when I talked with space child. Could those be conversation choices if you completed this tbd DLC?

My DLC does not contain any archive named
 DLC_CON_END_TEST.tkl

I opened the 3 available tkl files and DLC_CON_END.tkl  has the end conversation with the star brat, without mention of Leviathan.

Where did you get this file ?

My mistake, it was a typo, the actual file name is called DLC_CON_END_Test_INT.tlk
here's a pic of the directory with the ME3 DLC Explorer

So what I'm gathering is that these quotes are post-mission squad dialogue referring to this "Leviathan" DLC. Probably recorded them at the same time they recorded the EC dialogue.

I'd guess that is likely correct. Otherwise, it would seem really odd to call squadmate VA's in for several 4-hour-long sessions of recording if all they recorded was,"I'm not leaving you!" and "Joker, we have to go."

The Leviathan was under Batarian control, so that means we should (hopefully) see more of my favorite race. If this is the case, here is my money and count me in!

I'm in. This sounds like a really fascinating thread to add to the overall ME story.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this in the thread, but this may confirm a rumor from awhile back.

Back in April, someone who apparently had worked with Bioware employees (not for them, so he wasn't legally bound to keep quiet) came onto BSN to say that the shoehorned ending was the result of plans for a new series to follow Mass Effect, titled Mass Shift, in which the Catalyst (or Shepard's essence as the new catalyst) would live on through Shepard's body, and a single Reaper who was "rogue" and didn't die from the Crucible would be, like, the new Normandy.

I'm paraphrasing here because I don't feel like hunting for the topic, if it's even still here. But having a rogue Reaper as the concept for a post-ending DLC seems to be the start of that rumor coming true.

This could be a sign that a new DLC is going to be announced. Whether or not it's a single or multiplayer one remains to be seen. Could also be something else entirely.

TERMINATOR DLC LEAK CONFIRMED! :wizard:

Jokes asides... Leviathan at least sounds intimdating and Culthu style rather than Harbinger's plain angry. It would be awesome to see the two clash.

I remember Mass Shift! I liked some elements of it, such as a whole new setting and series and thought the idea was generally pretty good.
Though still, the leak is false.

Hoping for the best (new DLC).

Preparing for the red herring (Wasteland's bogus Martian story in the original Wasteland manual).

Unless I get a cutscene during the ending, showing the Leviathan being a badass, why should i care to get him as a war asset?

Agreed.

Velocithon wrote...

What is the point of any DLC if the endings aren't in some way shape or form altered?

I
mean, ME and ME2 DLC worked because it contributed to a story that had
not yet ended. It gave further insight to certain things.

Now, the game is over. The story has ended. What's the incentive here?

Exactly.  EMS is not good enough.

yahtzo wrote...

Eh, single player DLC will only be worth playing if it effects the ending somehow, and I'm not talking about EMS.

However, I would gladly download this DLC if it improved the new "refusal" ending by a significant amount.

Didnt Bioware shoot this down saying " no ending dlc is palnned"

Yeah... They lie a lot.

Victory over the Reapers. Shepard lives. Geth & EDI survive. Best. F*cking. Ending.

That's
what I wanted from the refusal ending all along.  I still have some MS
points saved up for "ending DLC" (I started saving them immediately
after beating the game, long before the EC was announced).  I would
gladly spend them if there was some DLC that would help me achieve a
more satisfying victory.  Preferably one where I get to have some cool LI time with Tali.

That said, I'm very surprised by all of the gushing in this topic.  The extended cut wasn't amazing.  Or am I missing something?

I actually thought it was really well done, I just (and I keep reiterating this, but here it goes) thought not having a true reunion scene left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't want to have a implied reunion or make up some romanticised headcanon. Just give me a real reunion. I didn't have to be totally ridiculous, but just Shepard being rescued or something like that.

Still, I'd love for there to an expanded refusal ending. I'd isht bricks.
