Unless you believe in space magic solving everything and being punished for making the only sensible decision and not take part of the 3 craptacular endings.

There is mention of Feros, I wonder if this will address the whole thing with the Thorian. Which to me alluded to being connected to Reapers and their creation. The Thorian was essentially an organic Reaper that indoctrinated people and created twisted life forms.

Judging from that data, I propose such explanation.

1. Lethian is first reaper. He was created by race, who made Catalyst.

I have studied your human religions, Commander--your "Devil" and his fall. Leviathan and its kind deserve the same fate.
They once unleashed a plague that has haunted all of our history to this day
I say their own hell is the abyss you found them in... one I hope they never escape from.

2. Leviathan is different from other Reapers. He may retain some memories of his race.


So the Reapers did not fully exterminate their creators. That suggests they are fallible, even on large or long-term scales.

3. Leviathan could potentially be war asset.

So we have Leviathan. I hope it stays on our side.

I noticed something on line 1211 it says, "So the Reapers did not fully exterminate their creators. That suggests they are fallible, even on large or long-term scales". So the Reapers didn't fully destroy their creators, I have a feeling this DLC will go very far back in time, maybe Leviathan is kinda like Saren but for the Reapers. A rogue, doing everything to destroy them, perhaps he'll even help you kill his own kind. I also noticed something else on line 1166 it states, "Don't do that again, not even to forge an alliance with a damned Reaper-killer." A "Reaper-killer"? Perhaps it is a nod to the creators of the Reapers, they created them, maybe they know how to kill them. On line 1376 somebody says, "From Sovereign to Leviathan... they've been a pain in the ass the whole time. But at least we're starting to see the big picture". This DLC will be more than just Leviathan, it will be learning about the history of the Reapers and where they came from, and from whom? Later on line 1666 "With the Leviathan on our side, maybe we pull this thing off after all." Indicating that later the Leviathan may join forces with the Commander and crew, this may have been the work of a new character's father, as the line after says, "Too bad Ann never got to see her dad's work pay off."
Also on line 1816 two people are talking and one of them says, "So a Reaper goes rogue and kills one of its own. That's what we're looking at here, right?" They are talking about Leviathan killing a Reaper.

You know what, I would be totally excited about a pre-ending DLC that explained the reaper origins and had mission, even if the in-game result was just increased EMS and some additional dialogue with the Catalyst. That would be cool, actually.

So, I've been looking through the main game's TLK file to find something about the Leviathan.

It is mentioned 3 times: Descritpion of Jartar, conversation with Balak and conversation with Jondun Bau..

It says:

Right, the Leviathan of Dis. I've got my own sources.

I'm pretty sure that Shepard says "The batarians had Reaper technology?" which is right under the line with Leviathan.

Or maybe Shepard says that if you finished the quest with Balak first, but I don't remember that.

Thoughts?
